Track: Good The track was presented in very good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly apart from a track lighting problem which surfaced late in the programme but this was quickly rectified and the meeting concluded on time.

Race 1 Garrards Horse and Hound Sprint - C0 - 375 ON THE HOUSE and GHOST WRITER were very slow to begin losing four lengths. ON THE HOUSE then chec ked off the heels of LADY LOUIS on the first turn and losing further ground and he finished well back. GHOST WRITER recovered well and after checking over the heels of REDSKY on the home turn, he ran on well to win the race.
Race 2 All Sew Embroidery Series Final - C0f - 457 VERSATILE RICHIE was a little slow to begin losing two lengths. AMOREA was checked soon after the start and also lost two lengths. TRILISE was checked and lost a little ground going into the bend when making contact with OUR BERNIE. THRILLING MARTY raced a little wide covering extra ground on the bend and into the straight but still finished in 2nd place.
Race 3 The Clubhouse Sports Bar Series Heat 1 - C1q - 375 Heat 1 FRIZZLE FRAZZLE was slow to begin losing two lengths and soon after QUESTION ME shifted in checking FLYIN' SHIFTY who lost four lengths. A few strides further on, THRILLING EDGE shifted across sharply and forced RHYME IN MELODY in towards the rail. AGENT VAN ALDEN raced wide covering extra ground on the bend and into the straight.
Race 4 Cambridge Mega Mitre 10 Sprint - C3 - 375 EL JARRAH was slow to begin losing three lengths. LIVING THE DREAM and MY GIRL COOKIE were checked back to the rear going into the bend and they stayed well back for the remainder of the race. MATRIX shifted out on the bend and hampered EL JARRAH for a couple of strides and he then shifted back in and checked ENOUGH IS ENOUGH who lost three lengths.
Race 5 The Clubhouse Sports Bar Series Heat 2 - C1q - 375 Heat 2 Movement in soon after the start from runners drawn out wide resulted in ONLY KATE, CULLENS IMPACT, MYSTIC and NEON NEUTRON being hampered and they were the last four going into the first corner. ONLY KATE recovered the best of those affected and she finished 2nd with the other three finishing at the rear. BINGO STAR checked off the heels of the eventual winner SPITFIRE OSTI approaching the home turn and lost ground.
Race 6 The Clubhouse Sports Bar Series Heat 3 - C1q - 375 Heat 3 GHOST CHIPS shifted out from the start and LIMERICK LEE shifted in which resulted in TATA SAFARI and SYDILICIOUS who were drawn between being checked and losing ground.
Race 7 Fond Foods Stakes - C1 - 457 LITTLE TEEGAN was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. TAPU BOY was observed to ease losing several lengths going to the first corner and he stayed back to finish in last place. TAPU BOY was examined by the Vet, cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure throughout. TAPU BOY was further examined sometime later and found to have hip support and gluteal muscle soreness with a 21 day stand down and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 8 All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C2 - 375 VIOHLAY shifted in sharply from the start and dictated JETSUN COAL in onto WHERE'S THE CAT who was checked losing three lengths and JETSUN COAL was also hampered in the incident.
Race 9 Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C2 - 457 JACKSON TOWN and ZAGATO came together going to the first corner and ZAGATO dropped back onto BUBLIN GOLD with both losing ground and they finished in 5th and 7th places.
Race 10 General Engravers Stakes - C4 - 457 THRILLING CHARGE shifted out soon after the start and made contact with CORBY, went off stride and dropped back quickly to be several lengths last and he stayed back for the remainder of the race. CORBY was checked on the home turn and fell and both dogs were referred to the Vet for assessment and both were cleared of injury.
Race 11 Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C4 - 375 PROVERBIAL was checked and lost ground going into the first bend. LAFAYETTE and DON'T KNOW came together and ran wide on the home turn.
Race 12 Valentine's Day Stakes - C5 - 457 KNOCKA KNOWS ALL was slow to begin losing two lengths. COTSWALD PRINCE was checked losing four lengths going into the bend.
