| Race 1 | Kirstie McGrail @ Harcourts LTD Sprint - C1 - 375 | KINGS MISTRESS was a late scratching at kenneling when found to be in season THRILLING EDGE ( fav ) jumped okay and was handy racing in to the first turn runners came across towards the rail forcing him to check back off heels losing a couple of lengths he soon after changed ground outwards to improve around the field but only battled in the home straight to finish in 4th placing at the line SUB SILENTIO was also checked racing in to the first turn losing several lengths back towards the rear |
| Race 2 | Palamountains Nutrtion Stakes - C0 - 457 | FIERY CONQUEST was the early leader in to the first turn where he moved out in to the line of OUR BERNIE who ran on to his heels FIERY CONQUEST ran outwards forcing OUR BERNIE wide on to the first bend in behind racing in to the first turn CHINOOK ran outwards from midfield being the widest runner across the top bend and in to the home straight CHINOOK was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action finishing several lengths in the rear at the line FIERY CONQUEST and OUR BERNIE were reffered to the vet for assessment where both runners where cleared of injuries |
| Race 3 | The Clubhouse Sports Bar & Cafe Sprint - C2 - 375 | From the boxes LILYLICIOUS and FRIZZLE FRAZZLE ran in to each other further in BAM BAM ran in to the hindquarters of REALON RUMBA |
| Race 4 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C3 - 375 | In the run on to the first bend MATRIX ran out forcing KIM DOTCOM very wide across the top bend KIM DOTCOM was widest in to the home straight finishing in last placing at the line but had covered a lot of extra ground through out the running |
| Race 5 | All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C1 - 457 | LITTLE TEEGAN was slow away from the inside box nearing the home turn LITTLE TEEGAN caught the heels of MR LOCHLYN losing momentum for a stride or so LITTLE TEEGAN made some ground in the home straight QUESTION ME wider out missed the start by a length but soon got in to stride to get in to a handy position battled away in the home straight for 4th placing at the line SEEING EXCUSES went off stride slightly on the top bend losing some ground and was refferred to the vet for assessment |
| Race 6 | Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C5 - 375 | From the jump HOLLAND BADGER cut across the face of THRILLING HAVOC who was checked then ran in to the hindquarters of BELLSWILL as this runner raced across a few strides on HOLLAND BADGER was checked as BELLSWILL crossed heading for the rail in behind COSMIC MAC was hampered for a couple of strides when as THRILLING HAVOC attempted to make ground moving inwards |
| Race 7 | Sergio @ Stud Stakes - C2/3 - 457 | From the boxes BUGSY BANGLES ran outwards as OPAWA STYLE ran in with BEAU RIVAGE being caught between these runners being tightened back and catching heels wider out PINT STAR from box 7 ran to the outside of the track until crossing over as they entered the first turn in side of this runenr BEAU RIVAGE caught heels again going back several lengths BEAU RIVAGE and WINSOME FLASH were forced to race wide on to the top bend as SHARK BITE ran wide |
| Race 8 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C4 - 375 | A few strides out of the boxes LAFAYETTE was severly tightened between EXCITING DREAM and WINSOME BUSTER with LAFAYETTE running out of room and falling LAFAYEETE recovered her footing to finish on to the lure a distance behind the field and was refferred to the vet for assessment where no injuries were found |
| Race 9 | Fond Foods LTD Stakes - C5 - 457 | BORNATO ( fav ) was only fairly away from the inside box he made ground up quickly to be handy in to the first turn soon after the start wider out KILARA'S FANCY raced across running in to PEGEON APPEAL who was then turned sideways as KOKO WHIZ came across on to KILARA'S FANCY pushing this runner in to PEGEON APPEAL KILARA'S FANCY and PEGEON APPEAL tangled and jostled for several more strides as thety tried to regain their galloping stride Further in racing in to the first turn HUSTLER cut across the fave of BORNATO causing this runner to check back a few strides and was further checked again as MINT POWER cut in to the rail BORNATO lost several more lengths back towards the rear and finished on strongly in the home straight to be with in a couple of lengths of the winner at the line |
| Race 10 | Cambridge Mitre 10 Mega Sprint - C5 - 375 | Soon after the start BOY SPICE was tightened between LOCHINVAR ELLE and LOCHINVAR YASI with these runners pushing over on to JETSUN PLAYBOY further in HARVEY NICHOLS ran on to the heels of BLUE TRAMP and went back racing in to the first turn MY JACK ATTACK raced across from wide out resulting in LOCHINVAR ELLE catching his heels and going back a couple of lengths BOY SPICE was forced to race wide across the top bend and was puttting in big strides in the dying stages of the race . |
| Race 11 | NZRS Novice Series Final - NZRSf - 457 | BORASCO stood in boxes when the lids lifted missing the start by a good 5 lengths he tried hard to make ground there after finishing in beating a couple of runners to the line Racing in to the first turn THRILLING GLORY ran wide forcing SECRET ARNIE and BUBLIN GOLD to go wide on to the top bend with BORASCO with these runners covering a fair amount of extra ground On the point of the home turn THRILLING TREMOR got on the heels of SECRET ARNIE when attempting to improve SECRET ARNIE faltered soon after passing the winning post and was refferred to the vet for assessment THRILLING TREMOR suffered an injury during the running and was refferred to the vet for assessment SECRET ARNIE suffered an injury and was refferred to the vet for assessment |
