Race 1	Absolutely Electrical Ht1 C3 - C3q - 305 Heat 1	GLENADDIS BOY and CAWBOURNE SPEAR were the slowest to begin but both made up ground well to finish in 1st and 2nd places.CAWBOURNE STARS and ANOTHER BLEND were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master Ht2 C3 - C3q - 305 Heat 2	SYDENHAM BUBBLES, GEM'S CONQUEST and THRILLING AVA were slow to begin and settled at the rear. GEM'S CONQUEST became awkwardly placed between runners going into the bend losing further ground and then ran wide on the bend and finished near the rear.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron Ht3 C3 - C3q - 305 Heat 3	General tightening going to the first corner resulted in checks to ANOTHER MOVE, BOUND BY PRIDE, GROOVY SHANE and SHEEZA MEESHA who all lost ground. BOUND BY PRIDE recovered the best of the affected dogs and finished in 2nd place.
Race 4	J P Print, Petone Ht4 C3 - C3q - 305 Heat 4	CAWBOURNE ELLEN drifted to the rear soon after the start and continued to lose ground and finished a long last and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 5	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4 - C4 - 305	PLANKING shifted in from the start and hampered YALDHURST EDWARD and MEGA RUSH who settled in the rear group. YALDHURST EDWARD shifted in going into the bend and hampered MEGA RUSH and PLANKING who both lost three lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 6	NZRS Ht1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	BIGTIME KINVARA was handy in the early and middle stages but began to drift in the back straight and finished in 2nd last place, some distance behind the first four placegetters and was referred to the Vet for assessment. MAJMA was observed to marr BIGTIME KINVARA in the home straight and was referred to the Vet for assessment, was found to have a pectoral muscle injury requiring a 5 day stand down but was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 a for marring and is requiired to trial under Rule 81.1.
Race 7	NZRS Ht2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	EUNUCHSLUCK and HOMEBUSH IRIS came together and bumped losing four lengths going into the first bend. THRILLING QUEST checked off the back of BARRY'S WAY going into the final bend and lost ground but then shifted out to go around that runner and went on to win the race.
Race 8	NZRS Ht3 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3	All clear.
Race 9	Mickey's Super Liquor C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	EXCESSIVE SPEED and ANOTHER HIT were slow to begin and settled at the rear. WEE DIGER shifted out going to the first corner and made contact with LEADFOOT LENNY with both dogs losing ground and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	DARLYNE OTTEY shifted in soon after the start and hampered ATE TO MUCH who was forced in and WOT PRICE CURLY was checked losing two lengths. Going into the first bend, COOL IZMIR shifted in and caused checks to DARLYNE OTTEY and ATE TO MUCH who both lost ground.
Race 11	Broad Roofing C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	One of the favourites RUN LACEY RUN drew box 8 and was forced to race wide and was pushed very wide on the bend as inside runners moved out and RUN LACEY RUN finished in last place.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	HOMEBUSH LIGNITE was tightened between runners soon after the start and stumbled losing several lengths. COMPLICIT shifted in going to the first corner and jostled with SEE TO BELIEVE and ELLY'S GIRL for several strides until eventually SEE TO BELIEVE and ELLY'S GIRL checked losing four lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
