Judicial report: Trainer Alan Williams advised that SALUTE TO RADAR received a torn gracilis at the Southland meeting on Tuesday. Due to the heat of the day handlers were informed that ties and scarves were optional. Trainers D Poutama and E Doody were fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when BIGTIME ALLGO weighed in 2 kgs above his last race weight on 17 January. Trainer R Blackburn was fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when THEOKOLES weighed in 1.7 kgs above his last race weight on 3 January.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	KNOX and RULE JUDGE JUDY were the last to jump. WANDY PAM ran outwards in the initial stages causing some crowding to KNOX and ANOTHER MOVE on her outside. On the home turn KNOX ran outwards when improving and pushed RULE JUDGE JUDY wider on the track.
Race 2	David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C2 - 520	BANK ROLLER ran inwards checking WILD GROVE soon after the start. On the first bend the favoured kennelmates SRETROR and WILD GROVE were both badly checked and dropped to the rear.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C4 - 295	Into the bend WISE WONDER ran outwards as BUT ITS GREAT angled inwards with WISE WONDER checking outwards and badly inconveniencing JED NORTON and HOMEBUSH CRAIG with these three runners losing their chances. When attempting to recover WISE WONDER ran inwards and brushed the rail on the home turn.
Race 4	Buy Sell & Exchange Dash - C5 - 295	THEOKOLES ran outwards in the back straight coming together with FIREMAN'S ESCORT. Into the bend KNOW LOVE AFFAIR was tightened on the inside of runners and lost ground. ENABLE ran wide on the home turn when handy and lost ground.
Race 5	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C3 - 520	OPAWA MIDNIGHT and NOT A KNOW were the slowest from the traps. WONNIE WONDER and NOT A KNOW came together for a stride in the run to the first bend. On the first bend NOT A KNOW checked outwards off the back of GONE AWOL and lost momentum.
Race 6	Jet Pets Dash - C5 - 295	KNOW ATTENTION was last to jump. ROQETTE shifted up the track in the early stages coming together with ADINI and CRIXUS with HOT SHOT LAWYER having to change ground towards the rail. ADINI edged outwards on the turn and pushed CRIXUS wider on the track.
Race 7	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	FEAR GO was the last to jump. OPAWA JAKE ran outwards in the early stages making contact with FEAR GO with OPAWA JAKE dropping to the rear. Into the first bend JINJA POWER angled inwards tightening TAKE A TRICK who lost ground.
Race 8	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	FULLA TORQUE was last to jump. OLYMPIC MEDAL was awkwardly away in the initial stride and then angled outwards tightening OPAWA BART and TEPIRITA RITA. Wider out OPAWA NO EAR also ran outwards causing KNOW ATTEMPT and TAKE NO PRISONER to be tightened. On the home turn OPAWA BART checked outwards off the back of MOULIN BLUE and checked FULLA TORQUE for a stride.
Race 9	Bill's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3	OPAWA JAY and JINJA JAM were last to leave the traps.
Race 10	Addington Events Centre Sprint - C5 - 295	DRYSDALE was last to jump. JUMPIN' JULIA ran inwards in the early stages tightening EXCUSE PLEASE and HOMEBUSH MAYHEM on her inside with these dogs losing ground. Wider out DIXIE LEE angled outwards and checked DRYSDALE for a stride.
Race 11	Flatpack Houses Ph Murray 033715005 Stakes - C4/5 - 520	MAGIC LASS angled outwards in the early stages tightening kennelmate MAXIMUM JEWEL who lost ground. Into the first bend RUSSELL HART ran outwards when improving checking ULTIMATE DREAM and pushing ICEBERG RAPPER wider.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	CAWBOURNE CATCH was a clear last to jump from the inside. VISUAL ILLUSION ran inwards in the early stages causing tightening to WAZZA FREEBIE and NOVA'S FORTUNE. Soon after NOVA'S FORTUNE angled outwards when improving and checked ANYTIME WILL DO and OKUKU LILLY who lost momentum.
