Weather: Fine
Track: Good It was established towards the end of kennelling that there was a slight fault with the scales which may have resulted in some dogs weight being up to .5 of a kilogram out and this will be taken into account in the starts of those dogs in the near future. The problem has now been rectified. The track was presented in good order but required regular circuits by the water truck due to the extremely hot conditions.
Scales: Slight problem but now fixed

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	HOMEBUSH BEDLAM was very slow to begin losing several lengths and stayed back to finish last and some distance behind the 2nd last dog. SUMMERTIME BOBBY was also a little slow to begin. SYDENHAM JADE was hampered when SIR RICHIE shifted in going to the lead and SYDENHAM JADE drifted wide and lost ground in the incident.
Race 2	Woodville Dash C0 - C0 - 375	AZURE DREAMS shifted in sharply from the start and collided with CIRCLE OF LIFE with both dogs losing ground and they settled back. CHARMING NEV shifted out soon after and forced WORRY WART wide in the race to the first corner and she stayed back to finish last while CHARMING NEV went on to win the race.
Race 3	J P Print Petone C1 - C1 - 375	KEZZ shifted out going to the first corner and checked MISS FOXY MINX who fell and also BIGTIME DRIFTER who lost ground and all chance. MISS FOXY MINX was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. MARJANSHAR checked over the heels of RUN MISCHEIF RUN approaching the home turn and ran wide covering extra ground into the straight.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway Dash C1 - C1 - 375	WHERE'S CHICKEN weighed in 2.2 kilograms up in weight from his last start weight six weeks ago and the increase was intentional. CRYSTAL WAVE shifted in at the start and hampered THRILLING CLOUD, SISAL, HOMEBUSH ALEX and FAWN ALLEGRO who all lost ground and settled back. OTEWA BELLA was checked on the bend and went back to near the rear and stayed well back to the finish.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photofinish C1 - C1 - 457	All clear.
Race 6	Cloverlea Dash C2 - C2 - 375	THRILLING ABRA drifted off the back of the field soon after the start and was not striding out as expected and she finished a long last and was referred to the vet for assessment. PINTA GUINNESS was checked going into the bend losing several lengths and was also considered to be short in its galloping action and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 7	Feilding Dash C2 - C2 - 375	BLACK MERCEDES shifted in from the start and collided with RAVEON with both losing ground. GO FERN GO led on the bend but shifted in checking BELFAST GLENDA who went out and back colliding with MISS FOLEY who fell. MISS FOLEY was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 8	Marton Dash C3 - C3 - 375	MR REECE shifted in going to the first cprner and checked SYDENHAM SAM who went back and was galloped on by FIRE BOY BAXTER who checked and fell. FIRE BOY BAXTER was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 9	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375	MY GIRL COOKIE shifted in going into the bend and forced CALL ME RALPH onto WISE CRACK LAD who was checked back to last. WISE CRACK LAD checked off the heels of SASSAFRAS in the home straight and fell and he was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 10	Shannon Sprint C5 - C5 - 375	MIRAGE was handy going to the first corner but became awkwardly placed between runners and wen back to last. She then raced wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 11	Foxton Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	SHARKIE'S DREAM was very slow to begin losing several lengths and he stayed well back to finish in 6th place. SQUEEZER drew box 5 and shifted out going to the bend where he was still in 2nd place. However, his galloping action appeared awkward and he continued to run wide and drifted to finish in 2nd last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 12	Bulls Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	VALAIN'S FLYER , RYBENBROOK FLASH and RETALIATE FIRST were slow to begin and settled at the rear but made up some ground to finish in 4th, 5th and 6th places.
