Track: Good The meeting was conducted in nice warm conditions and the track was presented in good order and with liberal amounts of water being applied there were no signs of the skinned pads problem experienced at the meeting two days previous.

Race 1	Welcome Stakes c2/3 - C2/3 - 520	JUST MAC and TWIN TIGERS came together and jostled for several strides going to the first corner and they lost several lengths, went back to the rear and stayed there to finish in the last two places.
Race 2	Brent Coull Memorial C2 Ht1 - C2q - 305 Heat 1	BLACK MERCEDES and MORNING LIGHT bumped together for several strides going to the first corner and BLACK MERCEDES was checked back to the rear and never recovered. BELFAST GLENDA ran very wide and lost ground on the bend and she finished well back.
Race 3	Brent Coull Memorial C2 Ht2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2	CALM RITA was slow to begin but made ground well with an inside run and finished in 3rd place. NICKI HAKA was checked going into the bend losing three lengths. MAC TAN and HIT THE LIP ran very wide on the bend and finished well back.
Race 4	www.anguslittle.com Wellington Champion Sprint C5 Ht 1 - C5q - 305 Heat 1	ENAZUMA was one of the slowest to begin but made up ground well to win the race. HOMEBUSH SARGE, SLANGEVAR, ENFLAME and ATE PIZZA were all checked in the race to the first corner and stayed back to finish in the last four places.
Race 5	www.anguslittle.com Wellington Champion Sprint C5 Ht2 - C5q - 305 Heat 2	LOUIE MACHALL shifted out from the start and checked DONKEY DEEP who clipped a heel , stumbled and lost three lengths. ROSEMORE OSTI and HOMEBUSH MAYHEM were hampered going into the bend and forced wide and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 6	Opawa Racing Wellington Cup Heats (Group 1) Ht1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	BENNY ROX shifted in going into the first bend and hampered TAKE NO PRISONER who dropped back and collided with KNOW WHICH soon after and they lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 7	Opawa Racing Wellington Cup Heats (Group 1) Ht2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	FEAR GO was slow to begin and settled at the rear. He then raced wide on the track throughout covering extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 8	Opawa Racing Wellington Cup Heats (Group 1) Ht3 - C5q - 520 Heat 3	THRILLING QUEST was shuffled out onto KOKO WHIZ on the first bend and both lost ground. Entering the back straight, COOL IZMIR made contact with KNOW THOUGHT who went back hampering THRILLING QUEST and KOKO WHIZ . THRILLING QUEST recovered the best of the three affected runners and finished in 3rd place.
Race 9	Opawa Racing Wellington Cup Heats (Group 1) Ht4 - C5q - 520 Heat 4	COMPLICIT and RUSSELL HART shifted in from the start and forced BACKYARD BULLY across the heels of BARRYS WAY and BACKYARD BULLY lost ground and settled at the rear. RUSSELL HART checked off the heels of BARRYS WAY entering the back straight and lost three lengths.
Race 10	Opawa Racing Wellington Cup Heats (Group 1) Ht5 - C5q - 520 Heat 5	LEKTRA FANTASY shifted out going to the first corner and hampered INDI RHODE and KILARA'S FANCY who were both forced a little wide on the track. CHAINSAW PETE shifted in going into the first bend and hampered TIME FRAUD and WOT PRICE CURLY and they both lost two lengths.
Race 11	Cafe Cibo Upper Hutt C3 - C3 - 305	CAWBOURNE STEFFI, PARRA SPARRA, SYDENHAM BUBBLES and SYDENHAM SAM jostled together for a couple of strides soon after the start. CAWBOURNE STEFFI, PARRA SPARRA and SYDENHAM BUBBLES came together again going into the bend and PARRA SPARRA and SYDENHAM BUBBLES lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
