| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295 | OPAWA BOMB was slow to leave the starting boxes. WAZZA FREEBIE, ANOTHER COFFEE, WANDY PAUL and JACKSON CAT all came together shortly after the jump. Into the turn and again into the home straight BUTTERBEAN shifted in and came into contact with JAZZY JET with both dogs losing momentum. |
| Race 2 | Wilson's Sports Bar & T.A.B. Stakes - C2 - 520 | OVER BID scrambled from the starting boxes, and JINJA JAM and JUDGE TO EXCEL were slow to jump. From the jump PARTY ROCK ran inwards and struck SRETROR. In the run to the first turn PARTY ROCK and KNOW CHAOS came together and lost momentum, while JUDGE TO EXCEL shifted inwards and collided with JINJA JAM who clipped the rear of JUDGE TO EXCEL and lost ground. Along the back straight an improving OVER BID whilst running in third place checked outwards off the rear of PARTY ROCK and severely hampered SRETROR with BARNABY BALE running wide around these dogs. On the final turn SRETROR checked off OVER BID with these dogs losing ground. |
| Race 3 | Buy Sell & Exchange Dash - C3 - 295 | From the jump TOM FINN ran inwards and initially checked PRIMITIVE before continuing inwards and checking LIFE WITH DEXTER who was forced outwards into the path of PRIMITIVE with both these dogs losing ground. On the turn IONA HAKA crossed and forced SEA SPRAY TICH to check outwards and dictate WANDY DEVIL, WANDY BOILER and THUNDA THIGHS wide on the track. Into the home straight PRIMITIVE ran outwards and checked the running of THUNDA THIGHS. |
| Race 4 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C2/3 - 520 | Both DITTMAN abd BIG TOKEN jumped awkwardly and lost ground. In the back straight DITTMAN checked outwards off the rear of BIG TOKEN and forced PAROLE TO EXCEL wide on the track. DITTMAN incurred an injury at the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 5 | controlinsulation.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295 | On the turn RED CARPET ran outwards and came into contact with WAFFLER forcing that dog wide, with both dogs losing ground to finish at the rear. RED CARPET incurred an injury during the running of the race and was referred to the vet for assessment. WAFFLER also incurred an injury during the race and was referred to the vet for assessment, while LOTSA STYLE was struck heavily at the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment. |

Into the turn ICEBERG RAPPER shifted inwards and DRYSDALE attempted to run out with resulting checks to CAWBOURNE MOFF, FIREMAN'S SALUTE and AS FAR AS who all lost ground and finished towards the rear. AS FAR AS incurred an injury in the race and was referred to the vet for assessment. |
