Track: Good The track was well presented and all equipment functioned well with the meeting concluding on schedule.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer J.McInerney was fined $ 200-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rules 64.5 and 88.1 o when ANOTHER STONE was not presented to race in Race 1 due to being inadvertantly left behind at the Trainers kennels. No stand down was imposed on ANOTHER STONE as it was considered that the Owners were blameless as far as the late scratching was concerned and should not be penalized. Trainer W.J.Hodgson was spoken to advisedly after it was observed that he moved forward after boxing his dog for race 1 and stood alongside the front of the boxes. The Training partnership J Lane / R Wales was fined $100-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 69 .11 when OPAWA BOMB was presented 1.8 kilograms down in weight from its last start on 18.12.12.

Race 1	Awapuni Raceway Dash C0 - C0 - 375	BILLY HOLMES was slow to begin and he stayed back throughout the race. MARJANSHAR was also slow to begin but made up ground to finish in 4th place. YEAH NAH and MIC PLAYER both raced wide covering extra ground on the bend.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	KEZZ, MOTOR MOUTH and BIGTIME LATTE were slow to begin. BIGTIME LATTE recovered the best of the three and went on to win the race. HOMEBUSH ANABEL and EASY SILENCE jostled together and lost ground going to the first corner.
Race 3	Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C1 - C1 - 457	UNO FLASH and MAJMA bumped together when the start was made. EL JETTA shifted in going to the first corner and tightened YOUR ON FIRE onto SECRET ARNIE who was checked and went back to last.
Race 4	J P Print Petone C1 - C1 - 375	RONRAY CRUISER was checked back to last in the race to the first corner and stayed back for the remainder of the race. The favourite DOLLY WIND who had won its last two starts, was prominent in the early and middle stages, drifted out to finish in last place. DOLLY WIND was referred to the Vet for assessment and was also subjected to a routine swab.
Race 5	Manawatu Raceway Dash C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	CAWBOURNE STEFFI was awkwardly placed between runners going into the bend and lost ground. STAT ME UP suffered a toe injury and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 6	NZRS Graduation Ht 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	GEMS CONQUEST shifted out from the rail going into the bend and OPAWA MIDNIGHT shifted in and this resulted in a check to ASHER who went back and out colliding with TRIPLE AYE with both losing ground.
Race 7	NZRS Graduation Ht 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	SHARKIES DREAM was very slow to begin losing five lengths. TEPIRITA RITA shifted in from the start and hampered OPAWA JED, ANOTHER SNAZZA and THRILLING HALO who all lost ground.
Race 8	NZRS Graduation Ht 3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3	JINJA JAM was slow to begin losing four lengths. DECEIVER shifted in going into the bend and checked BILLY HAKA who lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 9	NZRS Graduation Ht4 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 4	All clear.
Race 10	www.racingdogs.co.nz C5 - C5 - 375	One of the favourites DADDY LOWE jumped well from the boxes but then stumbled and went back to near the rear and never recovered from the incident.
Race 11	Feilding Stakes C5 - C5 - 457	The favourite INISHRUSH was handy enough going to the first corner but was checked losing four lengths but then continued to drift and finished in last place. As a precaution, he was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 12	Shannon Sprint C4 - C4 - 375	The favourite INISHFREE was the slowest to begin and settled well back.
