Weather: FineTrack: Good The track was presented in a good racing condition the weather has been very humid and dry with the clubs staff working hard to keep the track watered through out the meeting All equipment worked well through out the meeting apart from the lure pre race 13 ( refer judicial )
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil
Judicial report: Trainer Ian George was fined $50-00 under the minor infringment rule after he had failed to have his phone turned off when parading on the track for race 4
Race 13 was delayed for 15 minutes due to a breakdown of the lure prior to the stirups
The lure problem was identified and lures were changed and tested with no further problem

Race 2 | Trophies Plus Series Final - C0f - 318 | Soon after the jump BO WOO tried to run to the middle of the track but was pushed inwards by WOLF MARINE causing LACE THEM UP and AGENT VAN ALDEN to be checked and tightened back AGENT VAN ALDEN then ran outwards being the widest runner in to and around the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground |

Race 4 | All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C1 - 318 | QUESTION ME was akwardly away from midfield spreading herself for a stride as she left the boxes losing a length or so soon after BOMBER MAN attempted to cut across towards the rail tightning on to URBAN COMBAT who had come out BOMBER MAN pushed him over on to DEB BALE EXACT MASTER SALT and COOLTIME with all these runners tightning together and jostling for some distance as the field raced in to the first turn FLASH THAT from the widest draw was able to keep clear of trouble to race to the lead and was never headed there after QUESTION ME after a tardy start was able to also race clear of the inteference to finish on well for 2nd placing at the line |
Race 5 | Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C2 - 318 | Soon after the start ther was tighning as LILYLICIOUS raced across on to SAMBUCCA as KANGA WHIZ came out on to TATA SAFARI these runners all came together and jostled for several strides soon after racing in to the first bend SAMBUCCA raced towards the rail running on to TATA SAFARI who was checked back to the rear out side of these runners LILYLICIOUS ran on to the back of KANGA WHIZ losing a length then running out wide on to the bend KANGA WHIZ suffered an injury during the running and was refferred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities |
Race 6 | Sel's TAB Mangere Series Final - C1f - 318 | KINGS MISTRESS and MATRIX collided as they came away from the boxes MATRIX lost his balance for a stride or so Soon after MATRIX raced across running in to KINGS MISTRESS checking her further on racing in to the first turn THRILLING LORI came across on to MATRIX who was forced over on to KINGS MISTRESS who made contact with the rail dropping back to the rear KINGS MISTRESS was reffered to the vet for assessment where no abnornormalities where found |
Race 7 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C2 - 318 | Racing down to the first turn TESS' BOY tried to move outwards he caught the heels of CARUBA KING who ran out on to THRILLING NINJA forcing this runner outwards for a few strides soon after racing in to the first turn TESS' BOY ran in towards the rail forcing MORNING LIGHT to make contact with the rail and go back towards the rear On the home turn TESS' BOY was attempting to make ground when he ran in to the hind quarters of PIRI and was almost dragged down he ran outwards losing 5 or so lengths finishing in the rear at the line MORNING LIGHT was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities where found |
Race 8 | $20,000 Pick6 Sprint - C1 - 318 | Soon after the start BIGTIME DRIFTER NOBLE TOBIN and NEWTON WILLOW came together with all three runners being checked further in PADDY'S VIRTUOSO cut across to the rail checking RHYME IN MELODY and KIOWA WHIZ who then ran outwards to avoid heels KIOWA WHIZ kept on running outwards forcing MYSTIC out on to NOBLE TOBIN and NEWTON WILLOW who both ran widest in to and around the top bend on the point of the top bend KIOWA WHIZ ran on to the heels of PADDY'S VIRTUOSO who went back on to NOBLE TOBIN who was almost stopped in his tracks losing 6 or so lengths he made ground in the home straight to beat one other runner to the line SUB SILENTIO was able to keep clear of trouble from the jumpand cleared away for an easy win |
Race 9 | Jo's TAB Onehunga Stakes - C1 - 527 | Racing in to the first turn THRILLING PUNCH came out on to ALPINADOR ( fav) who was forced to race wide around the first bend covering a fair amount of extra ground he ran on strongly for 3rd placing at the line . |
Race 10 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C5 - 318 | From the boxes PROVEN SHELLY LADAKH and WINSOME BUSTER came together a stride or so on LIFE'S A DREAM cut across towards the rail causing these runners to catch her heels as she crossed soon after LADAKH ran out on to WINSOME BUSTER who went back slightly catching his heels LADAKH stumbled running inwards colliding in to LIFE'S A DREAM who was almost knocked off her feet at this point LADAKH ran outwards on to the bend LIFE'S A DREAM went back to the rear and never got back in to contention |
Race 11 | Plaster Board LTD Stakes - C4 - 527 | PEGEON APPEAL ( fav ) was slow away again today was shuffled back to the rear racing in to the first bend he then had to check across the heels of LOCHINVAR ONYX losing a couple of lengths he steadily made ground there after finishing in 2nd placing at the line . |
Race 12 | Auckland Vending Stakes - C3 - 527 | In the run in to the first bend EDWARD CULLEN came across catching the hind quarters of HOT POOTIE who was almost dragged down MAKENEN directly inside of HOT POOTIE caught her heels and almost fell REALON ROSE on the outside caught the side of EDWARD CULLEN as he was turned outwards INDI RHODE then ran in to MAKINEN who went outwards with REALON ROSE running in to the back of MAKINEN all these runners were severly hampered in this incident losing their chances except HOT POOTIE who got clear of this inteference earlier to finish strongly over the concluding stages to collar the runaway leader CHARLIE'S FUNDS on the line |
Race 13 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C4 - 318 | This race was delayed for 15 minutes due to the breakdown of the lure before the stirups this was replaced and rechecked with the race being run with out further problems Racing in to the first turn FLYING HIGH crossed towards the rail tightning on to FLYING FLYNN with BIG SAM'S GIRL in behind these runners being severly checked losing 6 or so lengths soon after racing on to the bend HIGH FLYER attempted to move out under the neck of AGENT VICTOR who was checked HIGH FLYER then ran out severly checking PICNIC TIME who lost several lengths and was not able to get in to contention there after |
