Track: Good The track was presented in very good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The two young handlers of PANDEMONIUM PAWS and MY LIL LUCIFER, Jenny and Jamie Phillips were spoken to advisedly and firmly reminded of their obligations after it was observed that they had moved to the front of the boxes and had been making a noise which may have distracted the dogs when the start was made.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 305	TIME'S UP, AVERSION and PICK THE TIP were slow to begin losing two lengths. TIME'S UP made up ground well to win but AVERSION ran wide into the bend forcing PICK THE TIP wide and they covered extra ground as a result.SMIDGED was checked and fell on the first corner and MS TOURNAMENTAL was hampered in the incident and lost four lengths. SMIDGED was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 520	KAZILLION shifted in from the start and caused checks to MY LIL LUCIFER, NITRO MABEL, PANDEMONIUM PAWS and PEGSON FIRE who was the most affected. GIRLY DREAMZ was forced to race very wide on the first bend losing ground and she stayed back throughout the race.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C2 - C2 - 305	KINETIC NEO was the slowest to begin but recovered well to win the race. CALL ME RALPH, FIRE BOY BAXTER, COOL EXPLORER and SCOTT ME GOING were all tightened and jostled together for several strides soon after the start and CALL ME RALPH suffered the most in the incident and went back to last. He then made a big run out wide until having to check across the heels of HOMEBUSH ALEX losing further ground on the bend and finished in 5th place.
Race 4	J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 305	GEMS CONQUEST, SURF QUAKE and BELFAST SUZY came together and jostled losing ground soon after the start. GEMS CONQUEST then raced wide covering extra ground and finished in 5th place. MY GIRL MARINA shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to CAWBOURNE TINA and SYDENHAM BUBBLES who both lost three lengths.
Race 5	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2 - C2 - 520	FLYING REBEL shifted out from the start and HAIR SHE IS shifted in which resulted in RAVEON and GO BOOF being tightened and losing ground. JAG YOU ARE was slow to begin and he then raced wide on the first bend losing further ground and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 6	Palamountains Nutrition C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	SYDENHAM SAM shifted in from the start and inconvenienced STILL HELINA, ALL THE RAGE and BIMBOO for several strides and they lost ground. BELFAST GLENDA led into the bend but ran a little wide forcing EVER SO HOPEFUL and RUN STACEY RUN over extra ground. BOTANY ZENA went off stride going into the bend and shifted out hampering ALL THE RAGE who lost ground. BOTANY ZENA drifted back to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. EVER SO HOPEFUL was also referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 7	Gary Ross Decorator C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	SEDGEBROOK LEE and STAT ME UP were slow to begin losing three lengths. JACKIE SHIRAZ led from the start but then began to drift going into the bend and finished several lengths last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment
Race 8	Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305	FURIOUS RESPONSE checked off the heels of MOTHERLEE going into the first corner and went back onto CAWBOURNE FLICK with both dogs losing ground. MOTHERLEE and WATERBUG collided entering the home straight with WATERBUG suffering the most and she finished in last place. WATERBUG and FURIOUS RESPONSE were referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 9	Mickey's Super Liquor C4 - C4 - 305	OKUKU WEE MAN shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to ANOTHER RAEWYN and SLANGEVAR who both lost ground. LINDOP started from box 8 and was forced to race wide throughout and finished in last place.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	THRILLING AVA, THANKS CHARLIE, OPAWA GIFT and TAILS OFF were all tightened and checked in the early rush for positions and they were in the last four places by the first bend and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 11	Broad Roofing C5 - C5 - 305	HOMEBUSH LIGNITE shifted in soon after the start and caused jostling and checks to itself and also OPAWA SACHA, ENFLAME and RUN LACEY RUN who was the most affected and she went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	THRILLING CAIRO shifted in from the start and caused jostling and checks to itself and also HOMEBUSH BORIS, ANOTHER HIT and MOODY MAN and they all lost ground. CHASING SHADOWS was in 2nd place going into the bend when she faltered and drifted quickly back through the field to finish a long last. CHASING SHADOWS was referred to the Vet for assessment.
