PUPPET MASTER and GOLDEN ELLE were checked back to the rear on the first corner and they stayed there to the finish. BILLY HOLMES and ANOTHER STONE came together and bumped entering the final straight with both dogs losing momentum. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 | AZURE DREAMS was slow to begin losing three lengths. WORKING POLAR was observed to ease from its position going to the first corner and went back and made contact with AZURE DREAMS. WORKING POLAR then made contact with the rail losing further ground and finished in last place. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and stood down for 3 months for a 2nd breach of Rule 80.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing GUNPOWDER GERTIE shifted in going to the first corner and hampered DALLAS HAKA with both dogs losing ground in the incident. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305 | RUTHLESS and ALAMEIN EEL were slow to begin losing three lengths. RUTHLESS recovered well to finish in 3rd place but ALAMEIN EEL stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. CIRCLE OF LIFE checked off the heels of EZY AS on the bend and lost two lengths. |

| Race 5 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 Heat 2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | HOMEBUSH BEDLAM, WAIMAK DAVE and SUMMERTIME BOBBY were slow to begin losing three lengths. MIC PLAYER shifted out from the start and hampered YEAH NAH and GUCCI RUSH for several strides. YEAH NAH shifted out and checked across the heels of ALAMEIN JAH going into the first bend. HOMEBUSH BEDLAM drifted off the back of the field going to the final bend and finished several lengths last. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |

TANYBRYN shifted in going into the bend and inconvenienced BELFAST SKERTZ who dropped back causing a check to HOMEBUSH JULIE who lost three lengths. ANOTHER GUNNA and WORKING WAIKATO bumped together going into the bend and HOMEBUSH ANABEL who was following was hampered in the incident. |

Soon after, RUN MISCHIEF RUN and SHAGA BANGA BANG bumped together and lost momentum. SHAGA BANGA BANG then lost further ground when checking off the heels of SEDGEBROOK SKITE going into the bend. CAWBOURNE BROOKE and RONRAY CRUISER were checked losing ground going into the bend and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 520 | SQUEEZER was slow to begin and was then dictated wide going into the first bend when VIOHLAY ran a little wide but SQUEEZER recovered well to win . RIJEKA began awkwardly and collided with LIBBYLICIOUS and they settled at the rear. |
| Race 9 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | GUNNA EXCITE was checked from behind going into the bend when galloped on by HOMEBUSH CRUDEN and GUNNA EXCITE fell and took no further part in the race . HOMEBUSH CRUDEN , HOME BREWER and EL MAESTRO were all affected and lost ground in the incident with EL MAESTRO recovering the best to finish in 3rd place. GUNNA EXCITE was referred to the Vet for assessment . |

| Race 11 | Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK LAD, THRILLING ABRA and CYCLONE SIX came together and jostled for several strides in the back straight and they went back to the rear. THRILLING ABRA recovered the best of the three to finish in 4th place. |
