Track: Good A small delay was encountered at the start of race 13 when there was difficulty in the closing of box 6. Club officials were advised of the issue and it was rectified immediately.

Race 1	CENTRAL WATER CARRIERS WELCOME - C0 - 390	FANTAS FICTION was slow to jump. LEAH BELLE shifted inwards approaching the first bend striking JUMPIN SALLY with a resulting check to LOOPTASTIC and LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE. Just after the finish TICKLE ME FANCY collapsed after the finish line and was referred to the on course veterinary for assessment. The examination revealed TICKLE ME FANCY was showing signs of heat stress and possible tying up. TICKLE ME FANCY was subsequently stood down.
Race 2	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 390	YA LAUGHIN stumbled upon jumping losing its momentum.
Race 3	BRENDON BURKE @ FIRST NATIONAL - C0 - 457	PUKEKO EXPRESS was a shade slow to begin. SAM'S FLYIN NORM and ONE EAR POISED come together shortly after the jump. Racing into the turn MATULINO shifted outwards forcing the majority of the field wider on the track with the worst affected runners PUKEKO EXPRESS and QUIET SNORT. UNO SHYLA clipped the heels of POISED BOY approaching the home straight.
Race 4	SGRC $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 457	MOON AND SEA was slow to jump. Just after the start STARBUST CLEMMY shifted inwards. In the home straight FALSE STEP shifted outwards causing JINJA POWER to loose balance and its momentum.
Race 5	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C1 - 390	MISS SWEET shifted inwards at the start checking GRANT A WISH. MARMALADE SKIES checked off the heels of GRANT A WISH approaching the home straight.
Race 6	WILLYS FLOORING LIMITED - C2 - 457	PUKEKO FLYER and ROXY RASCAL made contact on several occasions over the early stages when PUKEKO FLYER attempted to shift ground outwards.
Race 7	COLORMARK SYSTEMS - C1 - 390	RUMBALL AND ICE was slow to jump. At the point of the first bend TEKOA which had shifted groung inwards made contact with RANDY OUTSIDE which in turn checked STARBURST BLANCH. RUMBALL AND ICE checked off the heels of RANDY OUTSIDE shortly afterwards with RUMBALL AND ICE racing wide from that point onwards.
Race 8	Far South Challenge Heats (Group 2) - C5q - 457 Heat 1	ANOTHER BREEZE was slow to begin. NO UNDIES SUNDAY shifted inwards just after the dispatch making contact with GEOFF THE REF. At the point of the bend JONNY JET shifted inwards checking MORIARTY. Rounding the bend MORIARTY and ANOTHER BREEZE made heavy contact impeding the trailing JONNY JET.
Race 9	Far South Challenge Heats (Group 2) - C5q - 457 Heat 2	MAMAJA was slow to begin. ADMIRE shifted inwards shortly after the start onto INISHRUSH with resulting checks to TRICKY HARRY and RUSSELL HART. Just prior to the bend RUSSELL HART and ULTIMATE DREAM come together with INISHRUSH being checked.
Race 10	Far South Challenge Heats (Group 2) - C5q - 457 Heat 3	MAGIC LASS shifted inwards at the start crowding ATTIRE, JINJARANGO and WOT PRICE CURLY. Racing into the bend BOB'S EYE which had shifted outwards checked FINN MCMISSILE.
Race 11	SGRC $50 LEATHER LEADS - C3 - 390	DRIVE FIVE shifted inwards sharply at the start checking JACK'S FIRST and BANBIT with LIFE OF DEXTER also becoming unbalanced in this incident.
Race 12	JUSTRACING.COM.AU - C2 - 390	Approaching the bend MY LITTLE OAH and FULLA PRIDE crossed over checking JIMMY CEE which in turn caused checks to CAWBOURNE SPEAR, ASHVEGAS VALUE and WHERE'S JOHN CEE.
Race 13	100% SELECTRIX - C4 - 390	DECADO was slow to jump. MINI'S FANTASY shifted inwards rounding the first bend with WATERHOUSE shifting outwards off the heels of MINI'S FANTASY with a resulting check to BLICKLING BRIDGE.
Race 14	SEE YA NEXT YEAR STAKES - C5 - 390	HEZA SENSATION and ROSCA made contact just after the start with HEZA SENSATION becoming unbalanced.
