Track: Good The track was well presented and all equipment funtioned well throughout the meeting.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The leniency extended by the Stewards regarding the requirements to present Vet Certificates only once for each kennel during the recent kennel cough outbreak, has now concluded and any future scratchings due to kennel cough will require the presentation of a Vet certificate as per the Rules.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 305	MAXI'S MATE began awkwardly losing ground and he was unable to keep up with the pace and drifted as the race prgressed and finished several lengths last. MAXI'S MATE was sent for assessment by the Vet as a precaution. CALM RITA who had won two days previous, was also slow to begin and with thr pace of the race being quick tonight, she was not able to make up the lost ground and finished in 6th place.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C2 - C2 - 305	WHAT WHERE WHEN drew box 1 and was awkwardly placed adjacent to the rail going to the first corner and was shuffled back towards the rear. He then shifted out to race wide on the bend and finished reasonably well for 6th place. IMPERATIVE began to lose ground going to the first corner and eventually finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2 - C2 - 305	SEDGEBROOK LEE shifted out from box 3 from the start and hampered all runners drawn further out with HOMEBUSH GWEN and NELLY FLAHERTY the most affected and they settled at the rear and stayed back to the finish. BLACK MERCEDES was handy enough approaching the home turn but was checked losing two lengths and her forward momentum and finished in 5th place. BLACK MERCEDES had blood on a toe and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 5	DML Builders, Wanganui C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	HELLO ELLO shifted in from the start forcing THRILLING TUNE in which resulted in BIGTIME WHIZZ and OKUKU STAR being hampered and they settled near the rear. THRILLING AVA checked off the heels of the leader TAILS OFF going into the final bend and went back hampering HELLO ELLO and BIGTIME KAREN with all three losing ground. BIGTIME KAREN and THRILLING AVA recovered from the incident to run on for 1st and 2nd places.
Race 6	Broad Roofing C3 - C3 - 305	PIN UP PUPPY shifted in from the start and collided with and hampered CAWBOURNE TOBES and they settled at the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race. CAWBOURNE TOBES suffered from cramp following the race and had also apparently suffered a mouth injury at the lure and was carried from the track and referred to the Vet for assessment. The Vet determined that there had been a moderate haemorrhage from the mouth and that a full examination under general anaethesia be carried out to determine the source of the bleed.
Race 7	Gary Ross Decorator C3 - C3 - 305	OPAWA GIFT shifted out and checked over the heels of SEDGEBROOK ELITE going into the bend and lost four lengths. SEDGEBROOK ELITE was checked on the bend going backl to the rear and he finished several lengths last. SEDGEBROOK ELITE'S looked uncomfortable in his galloping action after the incident and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 8	Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305	BOILED LOLLIES began awkwardly losing three lengths. BILLY WHIZ checked off the heels of OKUKU WEE MAN going into the bend, went back and out and this resulted in BOILED LOLLIES, CAWBOURNE TANK and CAWBOURNE EMO being hampered as well and they all lost ground finished in the last four places.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	ZAMDATO was the slowest to begin and was hampered losing ground going to the first corner when THRILLING CAIRO shifted in. ZAMDATO recovered to make up ground and finish in 2nd place. BUDDY BROKE was also hampered and went back to the rear early in the race when THRILLING CAIRO shifted in but he was observed to finish very well into 4th place. DARLYNE OTTEY shifted in going into the first bend and checked firstly CORTECCIA and the BARRY'S WAY who both lost ground.
Race 10	Palamountains Nutrition C4 - C4 - 305	REAL CLEVER was slow to begin losing two lengths. CAWBOURNE FLICK shifted in going into the first corner and checked REAL CLEVER and BOUND BY PRIDE who lost ground and went back to the rear. REAL CLEVER and RIBA LORDA collided on the home turn when racing back and they lost ground and finished at the rear.
Race 11	Mickey's Super Liquor C5 - C5 - 305	LITTLE WISHES and HOWLIN WIND were the slowest to begin losing two lengths. WATERBUG drew box 1 and was tightened adjacent to the rail going to the first corner losing several lengths and all chance. LITTLE WISHES was checked going into the bend and lost two lengths.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	ENAZUMA shifted out entering the home straight when sharing the lead with MIRAGE and forced MIRAGE a little wide on the track. However , the films confirmed the official observations that ENAZUMA did not turn its head out towards MIRAGE at any stage.
