Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	GUCCI RUSH shifted in soon after the start and hampered MARJANSHAR and soon after HOMEBUSH SMOKE shifted in and hampered GUCCI RUSH and the two affected runners settled back. MIC PLAYER shifted out going to the first corner and hampered CLUAIN MEALA who lost ground.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	BUBBLE OSTEE was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. AMICUS CURIAE and YEAH NAH collided soon after the start and both lost ground with AMICUS CURIAE the most affected. YOUR ON FIRE, YEAH NAH and HARLEY HAKA were all chec ked and lost a little ground going into the bend. LIQUORICE WHIP and EL JETTA bumped together on the home turn and they lost momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 305	DON'T CALL ME shifted out going to the first corner and bumped HOMEBUSH LACEY who was unbalanced and lost ground. GUNNA EXCITE was awkwardly placed just behind CAWBOURNE TINA going into the bend and lost a little ground.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 305	LISSADELL TOBY was the quickest to begin but was unable to keep up the pace and drifted back through the field and finished in last place. LISSADELL TOBY was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury. EVIE'S FIRE was held up on two occasions during the race when unable to clear the weakening LISSADELL TOBY and she finished in 2nd last place.
Race 5	J P Print C1 - C1 - 305	ANOTHER COLT shifted in going into the bend and forced DARBY LANE into the line of HOMEBUSH LESTAT who was checked and lost three lengths and all chance.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 520	ALPINADOR was the slowest to begin but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER shifted in and made firm contact with the rail going into the first bend and BULLABAKANKA who was following, was checked losing two lengths. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain.
Race 7	Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305	EASY SILENCE shifted in from the start and jostled with FAWN ALLEGRO for some distance and they settled well back. FAWN ALLEGRO made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. SUB SILENTIO ran very wide over extra ground on the bend. SMIDGED shifted out approaching the home straight making shoulder contact with HEY YOU who was forced out which resulted in MAC TAN, SUB SILENTIO and BACK AT YA also being wide into the straight.
Race 8	Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 305	THRILLING SQUEAL and OTEWA BELLA collided soon after the start and lost ground. CALM RITA shifted in from the start and hampered BLAIR NINETY, CAWBOURNE SPEAR, THRILLING SQUEAL and OTEWA BELLA who all lost a little ground. BLAIR NINETY was checked going into the bend, went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305	THRILLING PIPPI and GENIAL jostled together in the back straight and GENIAL then shifted in and collided with the rail on the first corner and he then went back causing checks to KATE ROSE and HOMEBUSH COLT who both lost ground and they finished in the rear group. GENIAL was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete Wanganui C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	OPAWA CHANCE turned in the boxes and missed the start by some distance and is required to complete a box trial under Rule 72.13 before its next race start. SHOULD BE CARLOS shifted in going into the first bend and checked THRILLING CLOUD who went back and out and was cannoned into by SHODSIE and fell and SHODSIE also lost several lengths in the incident. THRILLING CLOUD was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 11	Palamountains Nutrition C2 - C2 - 305	TRIPLE AYE was slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground to finish in 3rd place. General tightening going into the bend resulted in checks to FAMILYS PRIDE, SHOWTIME ADDIS and the favourite MORNING LIGHT being checked and losing several lengths. TRIPLE AYE shifted out on the home turn forcing HOMEBUSH ALEX and PIRI wide over extra ground.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH GWEN and ANOTHER SNAZZA were checked losing ground going to the first corner. COLERIDGE AINSLI shifted out going into the bend and hampered HOME BREWER who lost momentum.
