| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295 | PHAEDRAS FIRST received a check in the early stages as KNOW THOUGHT angled inwards with PHAEDRAS FIRST dropping to a clear last. Into the bend MR. WHIPPY ran inwards badly tightening KNOW THOUGHT, SMASH AMEGO and JIMMY JURANTE with these dogs all losing their chances at this stage. |
| Race 2 | Sky High Scaffolding Dash - C2 - 295 | REDDY BOY was last to jump from the outside. NEW YORK AFFAIR angled inwards into the bend coming together with RIZZ AROUND with this pair losing ground and hampering OKOTOKS who was positioned in behind them. Soon after RIZZ AROUND ran outwards checking OKOTOKS who again lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295 | MATTI OAH angled slightly outwards into the bend tightening GENISTA TORNADO who dropped to the rear. Wider out RADIATOR SPRINGS ran inwards causing KNOX and HOME TRUTH to be tightened and lose ground. Soon after VISUAL ILLUSION and UNO HARRIET came together for a stride. Due to a clerical error it was announced that RADIATOR SPRINGS was wearing blinkers however this was not the case. |
| Race 4 | Buy Sell & Exchange Sprint - C2 - 295 | NITRO MABEL ran inwards in the early stages tightening OHOKA BLUE, ZED KAY MAN and WHERE'S JOHN CEE with these runners settling in the rear half of the field. WHERE'S JOHN CEE was noticed making ground late for fourth. |
| Race 5 | Wedding Best Wishes Steve Jukes Dash - C4/5 - 295 | ICEBERG RAPPER was last to jump from the inside trap. The favourite KNOW MISTAKE was only fairly away and then pushed wide by THEOKOLES in the back straight. KNOW MISTAKE then checked off the back of THEOKOLES on the home turn with both dogs losing momentum. At the lure KNOW ADVANTAGE completed a somersault with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormalities. |
| Race 6 | Flatpack Houses Ph.033715005 Stakes - C2 - 520 | MR. DOZER and SRETROR were the last to jump from the outside traps. SILVIA SUE checked off the back of MIXED GRILL into the first bend and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 7 | I Pave Concrete Sprint - C4 - 295 | EXCUSE PLEASE and REAL CLEVER were the last to jump. REAL CLEVER was tightened into the bend losing ground. STILL HELINA checked off the back of JUST A MATE on the bend and ran abruptly outwards badly checking EXCUSE PLEASE who lost his chance. |
| Race 8 | controlinsulation.co.nz Dash - C4/5 - 295 | HOMEBUSH SARGE ran inwards coming together with WAFFLER in the early stages. Into the bend CRIXUS ran inwards tightening WAFFLER and CAWBOURNE MOFF with SMASH DORA being badly dragged down and dropping to a clear last. OKUKU OLLIE and HOMEBUSH SARGE brushed together when in tight quarters on the home turn. Stewards requested the veterinarian to examine SMASH DORA following the race with no injuries being detected. |
| Race 9 | Ray White Unlimited Stakes - C3 - 520 | WONNIE WONDER angled outwards slightly in the run to the first bend pushing MOLLY PARTON and BLACK EMILY a touch wider around that bend. On the home turn BARNABY BALE was held up behind runners losing momentum. |
| Race 10 | Hampden Tavern Dash - C4/5 - 295 | KNOW ESCAPE the favourite was last to jump. ROQUETTE, CAWBOURNE DUSTY and SORRY VANDERFORD all came together in the early stages. Into the bend CAWBOURNE DUSTY angled inwards badly tightening ROQETTE and KNOW ESCAPE who both lost their chances. SORRY VANDERFORD was also checked in this incident. In the home straight JED NORTON checked off the back of ETCHED IN STONE and ran outwards colliding with ENFLAME for a stride. |
| Race 11 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | CYNTHIA BAXTER and MAGIC MAGGIE were last to jump. The favourite ALISARAY was keen to get away from the rail and in the process came together with NOT A KNOW, CYNTHIA BAXTER and MAGIC MAGGIE with ALISARAY losing ground and settling at the rear. ALISARAY then checked off the back of runners on the first bend and lost more ground. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 | FIREMAN'S ESCORT and WANDY BOILER were the slowest from the traps. JACKSON CAT angled outwards into the bend pushing NOVA'S FORTUNE and RAMRADA wider on the track with WANDY BOILER being held up in behind these runners. RAMRADA ran inwards on the home turn checking WANDY BOILER when both dogs were racing in the rear group. |
