Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition with all other equipment in good working order except sprint box starting mechanismn (refer judicial )
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The sprint races where all hand started today due to the solenoid blowing prior to race one with this not being able to be attended to on the day
This will be repaired before next trial or meeting day .
SURF QUAKE turned in the boxes race 4 and is required to complete a box trial under Rule 72.13

Race 1	Awapuni Raceway C0 - C0 - 375	From the boxes MIC PLAYER tried to cut hard across as TEPIRITA JAZIL came out resulting in DALLAS HAKA being severly checked back out from between these runners MIC PLAYER also went back and had to change ground outwards to make get racing room he was forced to race wide across the top bend to get handy he faded in the run home to midfield at the line DALLAS HAKA after being checked and tightened at the start back to the rear finishing several lengths behind the field at the line and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 2	Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375	REGEL STEP came out of the boxes awkwardly losing a couple of lengths further out LOTUS came across pon to REBEL JOE pushing this runner in on to EVIE'S FIRE (fav ) who made hard contact with HOMEBUSH ALEX on his inner EVIE'S FIRE was then turned sideways as pressure from the outside runner continued for a stride or so EVIE'S FIRE then changed ground inwards to improve but ran on to the heels of BOOZE UP and went back a couple of lengths he battled on in the home straight for 5th placing at the line
Race 3	J P Print Petone C1 - C1 - 375	GHOST CHIPS was a late scratching before leaving for the course with the Trainer advising Stewards of kennel cough OPAWA MIATA missed the start by several lengths made ground around the field across the top bend to get handy on the home turn finishing in 3rd placing at the line . MAC TAN (fav) raced handy then ran wide in to the home straight finishing in 4th placing at the line
Race 4	Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C2 - C2 - 375	SURF QUAKE turned in the boxes missing the start following the field home to the finish SURF QUAKE will be required to complete a box trial under rule 72.13 COOL EXPLORER dwelt at the start losing a couple of lengths As the field jumped away BILLY HAKA ran in to SNAP TO IT who was knocked off balance for a couple of stridesRacing in to the first turn BOB'S YOUR UNCLE was tightened for racing room getting on heels losing a length or so but recovered well to get back in to a handy position to finish off the race best .
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	SHARKIES DREAM went up with the lids losing a couple of lengths
Race 6	www.racingdogs.co.nz C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	CAWBOURNE ELLEN was away well in the early stages vying for the lead on the outer of GLENADDIS BOY soon after entering the first bend she became unbalanced in her galloping action going back to midfield then was hampered on the home turn for several strides as BOSS MAN SLOY came down on to her CAWBOURNE ELLEN drifted back to finish 10 lengths behind the field at the line CAWBOURNE ELLEN was sent for a vet check where she was found to have left triceps and left pectoral muscle soreness with a 10 day stand down recommended
Race 7	Foxton Dash C3 - C3 - 375	JUKE BOX BOY (fav) dwelt slightly at the start ended up several lengths in the rear racing in to the first bend he only improved a couple of lengths due to other runners racing wider out beating one other runner to the line JUKE BOX BOY was sent for a vet check and was found to have a right pectoral muscle injury with a 28 day stand down recommended
Race 8	Cloverlea Sprint C4 - C4 - 375	All clear
Race 9	Manawatu Raceway Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	From the boxes there was bumping and jostling between THRILLING CAIRO CHELSEA'S BEAUTY DARLENE OTTY and DADDY LOWE for a few strides soon after THRILLING CAIRO attempted to cross in and caught the heels of CHELSA'S BEAUTY going back a length and was unable to get clear racing room across the top bend
Race 10	Marton Stakes C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	RETALIATE FIRST was slow away and well back in the early running he made ground rapidly out wide across the top bend to finish strongly reeling in the pacemaker SLANGEVAR in the dying stages to win impressivley
