Judicial report: NOT A KNOW (A Waretini) who was stood down on Thursday at Addington under Rule 68.26 was presented to veterinarian Dave Matheson on Monday and cleared of any injury or illness. Accordingly the stand down is rescinded under Rule 82.5. Today's meeting was heavily affected by the scratchings caused by kennel cough that is rampant in the South Island.

Race 2	WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C1 - 390	OHOKA GERRY ran outwards in the early stages causing HOMEBUSH LESTAT to be badly checked and drop to a clear last. OHOKA GERRY continued to run outwards losing ground on the bend.
Race 3	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C1 - 390	MERELY A DREAM was last to jump from the inside. SEE SPOT RUN angled inwards into the bend coming together with OPAWA STEVE for a stride and losing ground.
Race 4	BRENDON BURKE @ FIRST NATIONAL - C1 - 390	OHOKA SUMMER was last to jump with NEW INGILLTAB losing ground in the early stages. OHOKA SUMMER remained well back throughout finishing in last place with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. Trainer Deane Stapleton was advised that a better performance would be expected at the dog's next start.
Race 5	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C0 - 457	ALL FOR ONE and UNO NOSEY were slow to jump. UNO NOSEY checked off the back of UNO SHYLA into the bend and lost ground.
Race 6	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C2 - 390	BLACK TRIGGER, JOHNNIE GEORGE and LIGHTNING FEVER were the slowest into stride. SHADOW WOLF angled inwards in the early stages tightening BLACK TRIGGER and LIGHTNING FEVER who both lost ground. Soon after WHERE'S JOHN CEE ran outwards checking SHADOW WOLF and JOHNNIE GEORGE who both lost ground.
Race 7	100% SELECTRIX - C2 - 457	All clear.
Race 8	SGRC $26 MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 457	WANDY PAUL and STARBURST BLANCH were the last to jump. STARBURST BLANCH ran wide into the bend and lost ground.
Race 9	COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C3 - 390	OPAWA BLAZE was last to jump. In the early stages THRILLING SOUND ran inwards coming together with OPAWA BLAZE with both runners losing ground. In the early stages of the run home ATTIRE lost momentum briefly when checking off the back of the pacemaking JIMMY JURANTE.
Race 10	$25 YARD MUZZLE STAKES - C3 - 457	BLACK EMILY and SRETROR were the last to jump. SRETROR ran inwards in the early stages coming together with BLACK EMILY and BIG TOKEN with SRETROR losing ground. Into the bend SRETROR checked off the back of SHIRAZ ROSE and lost a length.
Race 11	SGRC $50 LEATHER LEADS - C4 - 390	OPAWA BOMB and SPEED TO SUCCEED were the last from the traps.
Race 12	JUSTRACING.COM.AU - C4/5 - 390	CHEETAH WOODS was last to jump from the outside. Into the bend SEE TO BELIEVE ran inwards causing tightening to FLYING JOJO, ENFLAME, JENNINGS and HOT MANGO who all lost ground. Stewards delayed authorisation of payment of dividends until the start of the race was reviewed. After watching all available films it was determined that all runners received a fair start and payment was duly authorised.
Race 13	MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE - C4/5 - 457	OPAWA COLLAR and KING OF CLUBS came together into the bend when racing at the rear. OPAWA COLLAR was found to have slight dehydration and mild hypoxia following the event with a five day stand down recommended.
