Track: Good The track was well presented and with all equipment functioning well, the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: CIAO FOR NOW who was stood down after racing at Wanganui on 23.11.12, was presented and re-examined under the provisions of Rule 82.5 and the original stand down was rescinded and replaced with a stand down which expires on 29.11.12.

Race 1	Awapuni Raceway C0 - C0 - 375	GEM'S CONQUEST began awkwardly losing two lengths. SADDLEBACK PATCH and YEAH NAH raced wide over extra ground but finished well for 2nd and 4th places.
Race 2	Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375	CALL ME RALPH and ANOTHER SNAZZA were slow to begin losing two lengths but they secured clear runs through the field to finish 3rd and 4th. FAMILYS PRIDE, PHANTOM HAKA and REGINA HAKA were all checked going into the bend losing ground and they finished back in the field.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 457	TRIPLE AYE was slow to begin losing two lengths and was further hampered soon after when FLYING MOE shifted out. HEAR HARE HERE and EUNUCHS LUCK were both checked losing three lengths going into the bend and they stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in the last two places.
Race 4	Foxton Dash C2 - C2 - 375	SEDGEBROOK LEE was checked back to last soon after the start and then ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in last place. The favourtie RED MOOVA HOOVA was checked going into the bend when HOMEBUSH ALEX shifted in but he then went forward and was handy entering home straight but only battled from there and finished in 6th place. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a gastronemius injury.
Race 5	Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C3 - C3 - 457	BROOKLYN HOPE shifted out and BOSS MAN SLOY shifted in soon after the start and this resulted in a check to THRILLING BUDDY who blundered and lost four lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish. BOSS MAN SLOY was also hampered in the incident and finished near the rear.
Race 6	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C4 - C4 - 375	The start was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. DEANNE'S MAGIC shifted in from the start and bumped REBA LORDA who was forced across the heels of OPAWA THORN and checked losing three lengths and stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 7	www.racingdogs.co.nz C5 - C5 - 375	CLONE YOUR OWN was slow to begin losing two lengths. DARLEK KHAN and GEORGE BAXTER jostled together for several strides in the back straight. They came together again going into the bend and GEORGE BAXTER was checked going back to last and he stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 8	NZRS Novice Final - NZRSf - 457	SHARKIE'S DREAM and SQUEEZER were slow to begin losing three lengths. SQUEEZER then raced wide on the track covering considerable extra ground but kept up a strong run to finish well for 2nd place while SHARKIES DREAM stayed back throughout to finish in last place. HELLO ELLO made contact with the rail on the bend and lost ground as a result. She was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 9	NI Challenge Stakes (Group 2) Ht1 - C5q - 457 Heat 1	RILEY'S MATE began a little awkwardly and shifted in bumping with LOCHINVAR ELLE and settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race. WHITE AIR disputed the lead going to the first corner but drifted a little wide on the bend losing momentun but ran on well for 2nd placing once into the straight and balanced again.
Race 10	NI Challenge Stakes (Group 2) Ht2 - C5q - 457 Heat 2	WALK DA TORQUE and MINT POWER bumped together in the home straight and WALK DA TORQUE suffered the most losing two lengths in the incident.
Race 11	NI Challenge Stakes (Group 2) Ht3 - C5q - 457 Heat 3	ON TREY was slow to begin losing four lengths and he stayed well back. ANOTHER BREEZE and BENNY ROX were handy enough going to the first corner but were checked losing three lengths.
Race 12	NI Challenge Stakes (Group 2) Ht4 - C5q - 457 Heat 4	MAGIC LASS, TILT YOUR GLASS and RETALIATE FIRST were all slow to begin and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
