Track: Good The track was well presented and well maintained throughout the meeting which proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Judicial report: ELKI, a runner in race 3 was found to be in breach of Rule 80.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout the race and was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C3 - C3 - 305	YALDHURST EDWARD and HOMEBUSH HELLS were slow to begin and settled back. BOTANY ZENA shifted in going into the bend and checked CAWBOURNE STEFFI who fell and BUT ITS GREAT, YALDHURST EDWARD and HOMEBUSH HELLS were all hampered in the incident losing four lengths. CAWBOURNE STEFFI was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C4 - C4 - 305	DIRECT RESPONSE and KRUSSIAN jostled together for a few strides going to the first corner. DIRECT RESPONSE then shifted out going into the bend and checked KRUSSIAN and TALEEDY TROOPER who lost ground and went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 3	Opawa Racing Ltd C3 - C3 - 520	ANOTHER COURSE and CHAINSAW PETE came together and jostled going into the first bend and ANOTHER COURSE was checked losing several lengths and all chance and finished in 2nd last place. CHAINSAW PETE and ELKI shared the lead on the final bend and into the straight where ELKI was observed to turn its head in towards CHAINSAW PETE and she continued to do so for the entire home straight and finished in 2nd place. ELKI was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and under Rule 80.1 b, was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4 - C4 - 305	ODE TO LIBERTY made contact with rail going into the bend losing several lengths and finished in last place. ODE TO LIBERTY was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain. SHEEZA MEESHA checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH EDITH going into the bend and she lost four lengths and finished well back. AS FAR AS checked over the heels of CAWBOURNE DARCY on the bend and shifted out losing ground but finished well for 2nd placing.
Race 5	J P Print , Petone C4 - C4 - 305	The favourite SLANGEVAR began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance. VICKIS QUEST shifted in from the start and caused checks to SPEEDY LEESHELLE, HOMEBUSH HAYLEY and HOMEBUSH CRAIG who all settled back. HOMEBUSH CRAIG and HOMEBUSH HAYLEY bumped together going into the first corner and HOMEBUSH HAYLEY lost three lengths. SPEEDY LEESHELLE and PIN UP PUPPY came together going into the bend and SPEEDY LEESHELLE lost three lengths.
Race 6	Palamountains Nutrition C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	ASHER and BIGTIME KAREN bumped together and lost ground going into the first bend when racing at the rear. The jostled together going to the back straight and lost further ground and agin bumped going into the final bend where ASHER lost several lengths and finished in last place. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C4 - C4 - 305	DON'T KNOCK ME began awkwardly losing several lengths and he stayed back throughout the race to finish in last place. BENNY'S ANGEL shifted out going into the bend and hampered RAMRADA who lost ground.
Race 8	Broad Roofing C5 - C5 - 305	One of the better supported runners CIAO FOR NOW who had won its two previous starts on the track, drew box 8 and raced wide throughout and finished in last place. It was observed that he was bumped from the inside going to the first corner and unbalanced which resulted in him going wider into the bend. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305	ROQETTE shifted out from the start and hampered ANOTHER LADY who settled back . ROQETTE shifted out slightly going into the bend forcing HOMEBUSH HELEN wide on the track and DARLEK KHAN and COMPLICIT who were following were hampered and lost ground at a critical point in the race.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C5 - C5 - 520	All clear.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C5 - C5 - 305	MISS IRON FIST shifted in going into the first corner and checked GLENADDIS and CAWBOURNE LEVI who both lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	CALLAHAN shifted out soon after the start and this resulted in tightening to ENFLAME, ROSEMORE OSTI and LOUIELICIOUS who was the most affected and he fell. ROSEMORE OSTI was also badly affected in the incident and was then checked again on the bend when in contact with ENFLAME and they both lost ground at that point. LOUIELICIOUS was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
