Race 1 All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C2 - 318 Soon after leaving the boxes DIGGIN' ON YOU ran out wide bumping in to TIGER KAREN who then bumped in to RHODA HOLMES TIGER KAREN became unbalanced for a couple of strides DIGGIN' ON YOU kept on his outward run then changed ground inwards across the heels of SHARI JEWEL and lost momentum going back through the field towards the rear racing on to the top bend FLASH THAT and TIGER KAREN came together for several strides RHODA HOLMES ran widest in to the top bend when attempting to improve running out to avoid heels .
Race 2 The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C0 - 318 From the boxes there was bumping and tightning between BO WOO AMICUS CURIAE and THRILLING LORI (fav) soon after THRILLING LORI was forced back in behind runners as KAPAI MAX came across Racing in to the first turn OUR BERNIE was who was in the lead was galloped on from behind by ALL IN ALL OUR BERNIE went back a couple of lengths ,he soon recovered to finish on gamely for 3rd placing at the line . AMICUS CURIAE and BO WOO ran very wide in to the top bend . OUR BERNIE was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 3 Jack's Wholesale Meats - C3 - 527 Racing in to the first turn MUNCHIN' KRUNCHIN checked across the heels of HUSTLER soon after MUNCHIN' KRUNCHIN was checked again as he made ground around WINSOME FLASH both these runners lost several lengths going back to the rear they never recovered there after finishing in the rear at the line
Race 4 Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318 Racing down in to the first turn LACHLAN'S DEVIL came down on to KYIRRE and PIRI with KYIRRE being forced back friom between these runners just in behind SUB SILENTIO was attempting to improve between runners was pushed over on to the heels of KYIRRE as IMAGINATION raced across SUB SILENTIO was severly checked being turned sideways and ran outwards taking IMAGINATION wide in to the bend Both these runners lost all fair amont of ground at this point they were not able to get back in to contention there after.
Race 5 Carol's TABs Stakes - C2 - 527 From the boxes BEAU RIVAGE (fav) cut hard inwards severly tightning and causing checks to TWIN RIVERS DIVA RHODE TATA SAFARI and LIL' MISS KRUNCH all these runners affected for a couple of strides Racing in to the back straight SUMMER SPICE was vying for the lead with HOT POOTIE on his outer and ONLY KATE on his inner was tightened and checked back as BEAU RIVAGE came down on to HOT POOTIE SUMMER SPICE went back about 5 lengths Half way down the back straight ONLY KATE was observed to shorten stride going back through the field with TWIN RIVERS being unable to avoid running in to the back of this runner and falling ONLY KATE trailed the field being uncomfortable in her galloping action finishing some distance back to the line TWIN RIVERS regained her footing to finish on to the lure and was sent for a vet check where she was found to have a long head triceps muscle injury with a 7 day stand down recommended ONLY KATE was sent for a vet check where she was found to be suffering from left metacarpal pain and a toe nail injury with a 7 day stand down recommended
Race 6 Jo's TAB Onehunga Sprint - C4/5 - 318 The connections of FLYING FLYNN advised the club at 12.05pm that the dog was found to have an injury en route to the track and was taken for veterinary attention in Matamata. Flying Flynn was found to have left hind digit 4-5 webbing skin wound with a 7 day stand down recommended Soon after the start COSMIC PEARL BLUE TRAMP and FLYIN' MAGNUM came together all were checked and had recovered for a stride when WE'RE SO LUCKY ran out across these runners with them all being checked again FLYIN' MAGNUM then crossed towards the rail with COSMIC PEARL running in on to him RIPPED JEANS then cut inwards checking WE'RE SO LUCKY to check off heels and run outwards forcing FLYIN' MAGUM BLUE TRAPM COSMIC PEARL and QUICK CAT to run out wide to avoid heels all these runners covered a lot of extra ground in the running CAPTAIN COUTTS from the inside box was able to avoid the inteference to get to the lead and race away for a comfortable win.
Race 7 Sergio @ Stud Sprint - C3 - 318 As the field left the boxes WHERE'S THE CAT ran in on to PREDATOR DRONE pushing her across further in HOLLAND BADGER bumped in to SAFE AND SECURE who was then turned sideways as WHERE'S THE CAT ran in to him ,this gave LEGEND BEE a clear run to the lead and was never headed there after
Race 8 Journey Park Stud Series Final - C4 - 318 HIGH FLYER was slow away then was held up momenterily crossing the heels of BELKARA further in SAMSON DASH ran outwards running in to MAHONIE SAMSON DASH went sideways for a stride or so ending up in the rear with MAHONIE HIGH FLYER after the earlier incident made good ground around the outer of the field across the top bend faded to 5th placing at the line .
Race 9 Thornton Auctions Sprint - C4/5 - 318 MOON WARROWER was akwardly away for a stride LADAKH ducked outwards across the heels of EMMA JAY carried on outwards running in to and checking COSMIC MAC who was then held up for some distance as CORPORAL JONES ran outwards to gain clear racing room Racing in to the top bend THRILLING ISSUES and LADAKH came together for a couple of strides at the rear COSMIC MAC was difficult to place in the starting boxes today and will be boxed first at his next start and monitered Handler Mr D Schofield suffered some light injuries in the incident .
Race 10 Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C4 - 527 From the boxes LOCHINVAR LAREDO raced across tightning MAHALO RHODE over on to INDEED UNIQUE and KOKO WHIZ all these runners were checked at this point KOKO WHIZ was able to force his way forward to keep his position near the lead LEKTRA FANTASY raced widest in to the bend at the rear he raced wide through out covering a fair amount of ground to finish strongly in the home straight to be a close up 3rd placing at the line LOCHINVAR LAREDO was sent for a vet check on returning to the kennel block with a left hind split webbing a 14 day stand down was recommended
Race 11 McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C1 - 318 SYDILICIOUS was slowest away by several lengths TAPU BOY stumbled on leaving the boxes FRIZZLE FRAZZLE from box 1 cut hard outwards through the field was then pushed in as ASTUTE WHIZ kept his ground on the outer of FRIZZLE FRAZZLE in behind these runners TAPU BOY and LUCYLICIOUS came together with LUCYLICIOUS going back and catching the heels of ASTUTE WHIZ further in to the bend LUCYLICIOUS caught the heels of ASTUTE WHIZ again and stumbled losing a couple of lengths
