Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 305	EXCITED ROYALE and HOMEBUSH MELL were slow to begin losing two lengths. FAMILYS PRIDE shifted out around heels going into the bend and caused checks to itself and also to RANDOM ACT and EXCITED ROYALE with those two runners losing several lengths and they finished at the rear.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	BIGTIME LATTE, SHOULD BE CARLOS and BIGTIME JET bumped together when the start was made and lost ground. BABY JAMES, SHOULD BE CARLOS and BIGTIME JET bumped together going to the first corner and SHOULD BE CARLOS galloped on the back of BIGTIME JET with both losing ground and they stayed back to finish at the rear. ANOTHER STAR suffered a cut to the left hind leg which required suturing and was stood down for 21 days.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C2 - C2 - 305	FIRE BOY BAXTER shifted in on the first corner and checked MISTER WHISKER who lost four lengths, went back to last and finished in that position. IMPERATIVE received a slight check on the bend when SCOTT ME GOING shifted in and was then galloped on by FIRE BOY BAXTER with both dogs losing five lengths and all chance of a first four placing.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2 - C2 - 305	HOME BREWER and DON'T CALL ME collided and lost momentum when the start was made. Soon after the start HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD shifted in from box 8 and crowded several runners with DON'T CALL ME, SCOTT NO MONEY and THUNDA THIGHS being the most affected and they settled at the rear. RED HERRING shifted in going to the first corner and checked HOME BREWER who then made contact with THRILLING PIPPI with both losing ground.
Race 5	J P Print Petone C2 Final - C2f - 305	SEDGEBROOK LEE began a little awkwardly. HOMEBUSH CINDY shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to YALDHURST EDWARD, MS TOURNAMENTAL, SEDGEBROOK LEE and CAWBOURNE STEFFI who all lost ground and they finished in the last five places.
Race 6	Palamountains Nutrition C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	DIVA RHODE shifted in going into the first corner causing checks to FALSE IMPRESSION and HOMEBUSH FRASER with HOMEBUSH FRASER falling. HOMEBUSH WILD and PETROL VOUCHER were unable to avoid that runner and they were severely checked losing several lengths and INDI RHODE was also hampered in the incident and lost ground. HOMEBUSH FRASER was examined by the Vet and stood down for 60 days with a fractured / dislocated hock.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 305	CAWBOURNE REEAH shifted in from the start and bumped JACKIE SHIRAZ who settled at the rear. CAWBOURNE REEAH shifted in going to the first turn and caused checks to HOMEBUSH HELL'S, STAT ME UP, SEDGEBROOK ELITE and OPAWA PRINCE who all lost ground.
Race 8	Broad Roofing C4 - C4 - 305	OPAWA THORN and HOMEBUSH EDITH were slow to begin losing three lengths.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305	PLANKING shifted in going to the first corner forcing VICKI''S QUEST in and this resulted in checks to ANOTHER BECKY, ENAZUMA and HOMEBUSH LIGNITE with ENAZUMA being the most affected and he went back to last. A few strides further on, ANOTHER BECKY made contact with the rail, went back to last and finished in that position and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME WHIIZZ was checked entering the back straight losing five lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C5 - C5 - 305	FLAG WAVER shifted in and HOMEBUSH HELEN shifted out in the back straight and this resulted in BLACK COULDRON who was racing between them being severely checked losing several lengths. CAWBOURNE LEVI was also affected in the incident and lost ground. BLACK COULDRON was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury. IMA SPICE and HOWLIN WIND bumped together going into the bend and HOWLIN WIND became unbalanced and lost ground. LEADFOOT LENNY led approaching the home straight but ran wide losing ground and finished in 2nd place.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	WATERBUG was racing between CIAO FOR NOW and ROSEMORE OSTI enteriing the bend but was checked and went back onto CAWBOURNE TANK who shifted out causing a check to CAWBOURNE COOKIE who lost several lengths, went back to last and finished in that position.
