Race 1	Kirstie McGrail @ Harcourts Sprint - C2 - 375	Racing in to the first turn RHODA HOLMES raced across on to FLASH THAT (fav) tightning her in towards the rail soon after BIGTIME TREASURE came through on to RHODA HOLMES who was forced back FLASH THAT was able to push forward to keep in a handy position losing only a length or so in the earlier incident
Race 2	Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C0 - 457	CHINOOK was slowest away by 5 lengths ,he then ran out wide racing in to and around the bend in to the home straight covering a lot of extra ground through out the running . On leaving the boxes GYPSY HUNTER ran in to THRILLING CHARLY QUESTION ME in midfield spead himself in behind one stride out of the boxes WOLF MARINE ran out wards from the start on to LADY LOUIS with GYPSY HUNTER forced to check over heels
Race 3	The Clubhouse Sports Bar & Cafe Stakes - C1 - 457	URBAN COMBAT was slow to leave the boxes racing in to the first turn MR LOCHLYN was hampered slightly as URBAN COMBAT made ground in to the body of the field crossing to the rail MR LOCHLYN went back a couple of lengths at this point
Race 4	John Lamont Bobcat Hire Services Sprint - C1 - 375	From the boxes MAJOR TOM cut across the face of the field down to the rail causing tightning to several runners CULLENS IMPACT caught the heels of MAJOR TOM losing a length or so in behind CARUBA KING raced through the body of the field to the rail as they made their way in to the first bend and made light contact for a stride SYDILICIOUS was held up for some distance behind runners racing in to the top bend when looking to find racing room through the body of the field CARUBA KING was checked over by the vet on returning to the kennel block as a precaution where no abnormalties were found
Race 5	Fond Foods LTD Sprint - C3 - 375	TAKE THE MICK was away well in the early stages in to the lead ,he went back a couple of lengths racing acroos the top bend was uncomfortable in his galloping action but stuck on gamely for 4th placing at the line he was lame on pulling up to the lure. TAKE THE MICK was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found NAUGHTY COURTY was also away well in the leading bunch to the first turn then drifted back to the rear finishing 7 lengths behind the field at the line NAUGHTY COURTY was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 6	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C1 - 375	The kennel rep R Udy for THRILLING ABRA advised the Stewards on arrival that the dog was showing signs of coming in to season ,this was verified by the vet the dog was a late scratching THRILLING BOLT was handy in the run to the top bend then got a rails run to run on to win ,he was lame on returning to the enclosure and was sent for a vet check racing in to the first turn RHYME IN MELODY cut in across the face of DOGGED DAN who was checked and lost momentum for several strides going back to the rear he attempted to make ground around runners across the top bend but was forced out wide from there and in to the home straight
Race 7	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Sprint - C5 - 375	LADAKH from the wide box was forced to race out wide ,was able to finish off the best for a gutsy win ,was sent for a vet check after returning to the kennels with no stand down reqiired for a minor graze The trainer of MY JACK ATTACK requested a vet check on the dog later in the meeting where he was found to have swelling over left hind digit 5 and spike wounds with a 10 day stand down recommended
Race 8	Vehicle Services LTD Stakes - C3 - 457	All clear
Race 9	General Engravers Sprint - C4 - 375	A couple of strides out of the boxes MAHONIE cut across to the rail resulting in PROVEN SHELLY checking off his heels going back several lengths and was not able to improve there after
Race 10	0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C5 - 457	Entering the home straight FANCY TIP (fav) ran in on to WE'RE SO LUCKY and KIWI GIRL FANCY TIP kept on boring in as he tried to race past but KIWI GIRL kept her ground with WE;RE SO LUCKY being severly ttightened and squeezed back out from between these runners FANCY TIP then caught the hindquarters of KIWI GIRLwith both dogs being badly checked going back finishing midfield FANCY TIP WE'RE SO LUCKY and KIWI GIRL were unlucky not to be the first 3 runners to the line These runners were checked by the vet on returning to the wash bay with no abnormalities found
Race 11	Sergio @ Stud Stakes - C2 - 457	This race was delayed 2 minutes to allow repairs to the wool on the lure from the previous race. Soon after the start MUNCHIN KRUNCHIN raced across in to the line of HOT POOTIE who was checked then ran out to the middle of the track soon after tracing on to the bend HOT POOTIE was and MCKONE came together jostling for a couple of strides when HOT POOTIE got clear she ran on well for 4th placing at the line
Race 12	All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C4/5 - 457	Racing down to the first turn HIGH FLYER came caross on to LACHLANS CASH pusing him in to the shoulder of LEKTRA FANTASY who was knocked sideways as LACHLANS CASH was checked back LEKTRA FANTASY became unbalanced for a few strides going back to the rear by several lengths and never got back in to contention there after. GIRL ROSEY was forced out wide racing on to the top bend when attempting to improve ran on gamely for 4th placing at the line
