Track: Good The track was well presented and all equipment functioned well and there were no reported injuries.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainers McCook and Jopson scratched six Greyhounds from todays meeting due to their vehicle breaking down while travelling to the meeting and there is no penalty imposed. Mr McCook has agreed to supply the Stewards with confirmation from a repair garage.

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	DALLAS HAKA shifted in from the start and checked over the heels of MISS FOXY MINX and settled at the rear where he stayed throughout the race. TEPIRITA JAZIL checked off the heels of KOTUMBA going into the bend losing ground but ran on well to finish in 3rd place.
Race 2	Woodville Dash C0 - C0 - 375	ANOTHER SNAZZA began awkwardly losing ground but made up ground well to win the race. YEAH NAH and HOMEBUSH RICK were slow to begin losing three lengths. SADDLEBACK PATCH ran very wide on the bend and into the straight and forced YEAH NAH to also cover extra ground but they finished well for 2nd and 4th places.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	CALM RITA was slow to begin and settled at the rear and stayed back throughout the race. SAPPHIRE PHOENIX was handy going to the first corner but was checked when BIGTIME DRIFTER shifted in and she lost several lengths and stayed well back. RONRAY CRUISER was midfield on the bend but was checked losing three lengths.
Race 4	Foxton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	OPAWA SWEDE and BOLT RAMA bumped together in their initial stride out of the boxes and OPAWA SWEDE then blundered and settled at the rear but then ran on well to finish in 3rd place. OPAWA SIR shifted in from the start and inconvenienced SPEED LEGEND who lost ground and settled midfield but then ran on well to win..
Race 5	Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C2 - C2 - 375	BOSS MAN SLOY shifted in going to the first corner and forced FIRE BOY BAXTER in behind the leader KAZILLION who was hampered in the movement. HOMEBUSH ALEX shifted in soon after the start and bumped HOME BREWER and shifted in again soon after and checked HOME BREWER who lost five lengths.
Race 6	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C4 - C4 - 375	The favourite COSMIC MACK was the slowest to begin and although he did make up ground, he could only finish in 3rd place. OPAWA THORN shifted out going into the bend and checked LITTLE BLACKSPOT who was forced wide and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 7	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	REALON ROSE and BIGTIME KAREN came together and bumped going to the first corner and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 8	Shannon Sprint C5 - C5 - 375	EMMA MARIE shifted in from the start and inconvenienced TOI SHAN who shifted in across the line of WHAT A PEANUT who settled at the rear. Soon after, MOODY MAN shifted out and collided with EMMA MARIE and both dogs lost momentum for a couple of strides and settled back.
Race 9	Manawatu Raceway Stakes C5 - C5 - 457	MR METICULOUS was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then raced wide over extra ground on the bend and finished well back. RYBENBROOK FLASH shifted in in the back straight and jostled LOCHINVAR ONYX and shifted in again going into the bend and checked LOCHINVAR ONYX who went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 10	NZRS Graduation Ht 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	One of the favourites BLACK EMILY was slow to begin losing two lengths and she stayed back in the rear group to the finish.
Race 11	NZRS Graduation Ht 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	SPACE RACE was checked going into the bend and went back to the rear and soon after, OPAWA RAPID was galloped on losing several lengths and all chance and he stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 12	NZRS Graduation Ht 3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3	JUST MAC and OPAWA PEEKAY came together going into the bend losing four lengths and they never recovered and finished in the last two places.
Race 13	NZRS Graduation Ht 4 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 4	OPAWA JED had difficulty securing a run when behind the leader OPAWA MIDNIGHT on the home turn but once he had cleared the heels, he finished well to win.
