| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305 | HOMEBUSH RICK was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout to finish in last place. GUSS THE MUSS ran very wide on the bend and into the straight over extra ground. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 | KODENE shifted out soon after the start and checked REBEL JOE and HOMEBUSH SMOKE and he then shifted back in causing checks to CHARLIES PAL and GOLDEN ELLE. TANYBRYN was checked going into the bend and fell and KNOCKA OFF TIME was severly hindered in the incident losing all chance. TANYBRYN was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with thigh muscle pain. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 520 | HOMEBUSH BEDLAM and TALK BACK jumped in the air when the box lids opened and then collided in their initial stride and settled at the rear. MY LIL LUCIFER shifted out when the start was made and collided with SUMMERTIME BOBBY and they both settled back in the field. TALK BACK checked over the heels of SUMMERTIME BOBBY going into the first bend losing further ground and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood C0 Final - C0f - 520 | SHES COMING and THRILLING CHARLI bumped together for a couple of strides going to the first corner and settled back in the field. |
| Race 5 | J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 305 | STEVIES MAGIC shifted out from the start checking WAIMAK DAVE back to last. ANOTHER SNAZZA shifted in going to the first corner and forced WORKING WAIKATO in onto JOHNNY WAGTAIL who was checked losing all chance. Soon after, YEAH NAH shifted in checking STEVIES MAGIC and HOMEBUSH VIOLET who lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group. |
| Race 6 | Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305 | The favourite BOLT RAMA was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. ANOTHER JEWEL and PINTA GUINNESS bumped together going into the bend and PINTA GUINNESS shifted out to collide with HOMEBUSH GRETA and FACE THE DEMON and they lost several lengths and finished in the last three places. |
| Race 7 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | One of the favourites CALL ILLUSION was slow to begin and he stayed well back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 8 | Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 305 | FRIZZLE FRAZZLE was one of the slowest to begin from box 8 but kept up a strong run out wide throughout to finiish in 2nd place. TRICKY PAULA was handy early but drifted in the middle stages and then checked over the heels of TUI HOTLIPS on the bend, ran very wide into the straight and finished several lengths last. |
| Race 9 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 | One of the favourites CALM RITA was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. JIMMY THE BUCK and SEDGEBROOK LAD bumped together soon after the start. JIMMY THE BUCK continued to shift out going to the first corner and jostled SEDGEBROOK LAD and then went off stride and dropped out to finish several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 | HOMEBUSH CHOPPER and ROLLEM UP JOANY drew the outside two boxes and they settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER faltered for a couple of strides going into the final bend and lost ground, finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. |
| Race 11 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305 | SISAL was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground to finish in 4th place. HOMEBUSH LAYLA, CYCLONE SIX and HOMEBUSH ALEX jostled together for several strides going into the bend losing ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305 | BOSS MAN SLOY and MY LITTLE OAH came together and lost ground going into the bend and RED HERRING and YALDHURST EDWARD were both affected in the incident. BOSS MAN SLOY recovered the best of those affected and he finished in 3rd place. |
