Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 305	The favourite BOLT RAMA was one of the slowest to begin and then checked off the heels of SEONG DUK soon after and he settled well back and never improved. JETSUN JULES was also slow to begin and then drifted off the back of the field going into the bend and finished several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with tricep and bicep femoris muscle pain.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 305	BOTANY ZENA, FAWN ALLEGRO and DOWN THE BACK were slow to begin losing three lengths. DOWN THE BACK recovered the best of the three to win the race. OKUKU BOBO galloped on the back of CAWBOURNE TINA going into the bend and they both lost several lengths and finished at the rear. SNAP TO IT ran very wide into the straight but held on to finish in 3rd place.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C2 - C2 - 305	KINETIC NEO was slow to begin losing five lengths but he did make up ground to finish in 5th place. ALL THE RAGE, FURIOUS RESPONSE and EXCITED ROYALE jostled together going into the bend and all three dogs lost ground. FURIOUS RESPONSE recovered the best of the three to finish in 4th place with the other two back in the last two places.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C3 - C3 - 305	GROOVY SHANE was handy enough going to the first corner but was checked and went back to the rear and he stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 5	J P Print Petone C3 - C3 - 305	SEDGEBROOK ELITE and COOL EXPLORER were slow to begin losing three lengths. SEDGEBROOK ELITE made up ground well to finish in 3rd place while COOL EXPLORER and OPAWA BLACK were both checked going into the bend when DYNAMIK SPIRIT shifted out and forced them wide and they finished at the rear. GEORGE BAXTER and ENAZUMA shared the lead into the straight and bumped together on three occasions but maintained their leading positions to finish 1st and 2nd..
Race 6	Palamountains Nutrition C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	RAMESSEE shifted out from the start and KAZILLION shifted in and this resulted in JUST MAC who was drawn in between being checked back to the rear. RAMESSEE and KAZILLION came together going into the final bend , checked and went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	OKUKU WEE MAN and ASHER were a little slow to begin. PLANKING shifted in going to the first corner and dictated BOUND BY PRIDE in to the line of OKUKU WEE MAN who was checked losing ground. CAWBOURNE EMO shifted out slightly going into the bend and forced VICKIS QUEST and ASHER to race wide into the bend.
Race 8	Broad Roofing C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	KANGO KLINK was slow to begin losing four lengths. SLANGEVAR shifted in going to the first corner and collided with ANOTHER LEGIN and both dogs lost momentum. SLANGEVAR continued to shift in and jostled with ANOTHER LADY for several strides and SLANGEVAR lost three lengths in the incident.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	WISE WONDER was slow to begin losing three lengths. CHELSEAS BEAUTY shifted in from the start and checked PARRA SPARRA and NICKI HAKA who both lost ground. PARRA SPARRA then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	The favourite THREE INCH NAIL was the slowest to begin and settled at the rear. He then ran wide on the first bend and his galloping action did not appear to be correct and he dropped back to be several lengths last. THREE INCH NAIL then began to make up ground in the back straight and finished the race with the tailenders. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 7 days with Hip / gluteal muscle pain.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C5 - C5 - 305	SANDS OF TIME was a little slow to begin losing two lengths. CIAO FOR NOW checked off the heels of BLUE JEAN ALICE going into the bend and lost two lengths. CAWBOURNE LEVI and SUIT YOURSELF came together and bumped at the rear of the field on the home turn.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	MOTHERLEE jumped in the air and escaped from the parade area and ran a short distance , was examined by the Vet and cleared fit to start. KINETIC RIO and IMA SPICE were a little slow to begin and settled at the rear. IMA SPICE then shifted in soon after and bumped KINETIC RIO who lost a little momentum. MOTHERLEE shifted in going into the bend and checked LITTLE BLACKSPOT who lost two lengths.
