Judicial report: Under Rule 76.7 the Chief Executive of GRNZ determined that EMILY BAXTER, WHITE AIR, KIKI RHODE and MOLLY PAISLEY qualify for the semi-finals of the NZ Cup after the abandonment of Heat 6 last night. Matt Roberts, the Trainer of WALK DA TORQUE who was stood down for 14 days last night under Rule 82.1 after qualifying for the semi-finals of the NZ Cup, advised Stewards that he would be monitoring the injury and if clear would be presenting the dog to the Veterinary Surgeon early next week under Rule 82.5.

Race 1	Flair Maiden - C0 - 520	HOMEBUSH BEDLAM was last to jump. OPAWA JAKE ran outwards in the early stages contacting OPAWA CHANCE with both dogs losing considerable ground and settling at the rear.
Race 2	Super Pets Galaxy Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 1	TEPIRITA RITA and CRIXUS were last to jump. WAFFLER was badly tightened into the bend and lost ground.
Race 3	Super Pets Galaxy Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 2	ANOTHER BREEZE and ANYTIME WILL DO were the slowest from the traps. GRIZZ ran inwards checking TRICKY HARRY in the early stages with ANOTHER BREEZE being inconvenienced in behind. Soon after GURU GOOSE also ran inwards checking WANDY HALLEE who lost ground. GRIZZ and WANDY HALLEE came together into the bend with WANDY HALLEE dropping towards the rear. On the home turn WANDY HALLEE angled inwards checking TRICKY HARRY when both dogs were at the rear.
Race 4	Super Pets Galaxy Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 3	PRINCELY DOLLAR slipped his lead at the stir ups and ran 30 metres to the boxes. The dog was checked by the veterinary surgeon and passed fit to race. HOT MANGO and ADINI missed the kick. General tightening into the bend resulted in RAMRADA, HOT MANGO, SEE TO BELIEVE and COMPLICIT all losing ground. Wider out OKUKU DREAMER angled inwards and contacted dogs losing her feet momentarily and causing a severe check to ADINI who lost his chance. A post race veterinary check of OKUKU DREAMER revealed no abnormalities.
Race 5	Super Pets Galaxy Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 4	KNOW ATTENTION and MEMPHIS HOTCAKES came together in the initial stages and settled at the rear. FIERY FLOWER ran outwards on the bend pushing KNOW ATTENTION over extra ground.
Race 6	Super Pets Galaxy Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 5	This race was delayed by two minutes due to an enquiry at the Tauranga gallops. DRYSDALE was the last to jump but accelerated quickly to be handy into the bend. OSCAR TUIVASA was checked and fell on the bend as WANDY GENO angled off the rail. OSCAR TUIVASA was checked by the veterinarian with no abnormalities detected.
Race 7	Super Pets Galaxy Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 6	WANDY BOILER was last from the traps. WANDY BOILER then checked off the back of KNOCK EM into the bend and lost ground. KNOW RIVAL angled outwards on the home turn pushing HOMEBUSH MAYHEM outwards on to SOSAN who was pushed over extra ground.
Race 8	Super Pets Galaxy Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 7	ATE POWER angled across the face of the field in the early stages hampering OKUKU OLLIE and KNOW ESCAPE for a few strides. CHEETAH WOODS dropped out in the back straight and finished last with a post race veterinary check revealing a shoulder muscle injury with a 14 day stand down recommended. Into the bend EXCUSE PLEASE checked outwards off the back of KNOW ESCAPE and pushed FINN MCMISSILE and CLONE YOUR OWN over extra ground.
Race 9	Super Pets Galaxy Heat - C5q - 295 Heat 8	WAZZA FREEBIE was last to jump. FLYING JOJO angled outwards in the initial stages coming together with FIREMANS ESCORT for a stride. ANOTHER GON and WAZZA FREEBIE were both tightened into the bend losing momentum.
Race 10	Happy Birthday Dave Fahey Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA PEEKAY was last to jump from the inside. MONTY DOSH and NO UNDIES SUNDY came together for a stride in the early stages. FIREMANS ROCKET ran outwards on the first bend and pushed ANOTHER STAR wide with both runners losing ground. OHOKA ZOE also covered extra ground on that first bend.
Race 11	NZ Cup & Galaxy Semi's Next Wednesday Stakes - C1 - 520	The reserves LAW TO EXCEL and OPAWA MIATA were last to jump. OPAWA MIATA maintained a wide course in the run to the first bend. KIN NIKKI ran a shade wide and came together with TAKE A TRICK into the first bend and lost ground.
Race 12	Speight's Stakes - C2 - 520	KNOW CHAOS was very slow from the boxes. BOTANY COMET ran outwards slightly into the first bend pushing MOLLY PARTON out on to OPAWA MIDNIGHT for a stride. BOTANY COMET checked off the back of ANOTHER COURSE for a stride on the home turn and lost momentum.
