Judicial report: Due to the abandonment of one of the NZ Cup heats the decision as to the qualifiers from that heat will be made on Friday morning by the Chief Executive in terms of Rule 76.7.

Race 1	Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C3 - 295	WANDY OLIVIA was a clear last on jumping with ANOTHER BECKY also settling well back. ANOTHER BECKY and ATTIRE came together on the bend on two occasions with both dogs losing ground.
Race 2	Flatpack Houses Phone 021480250 - C3 - 520	DYNA INDIGO and KNOW THOUGHT came together for a stride shortly after jumping. ALISARAY maintained a wide path in the run to the first bend. On that bend OPAWA RAPID shifted outwards checking DYNA INDIGO and ALISARAY who had been angling back inwards from its wide initial run. DYNA INDIGO dropped out to the rear after this check with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormalities.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	HOT SHOT LAWYER dropped to the rear in the initial stages. ELITE PALACE received a slight check on the bend and lost a length.
Race 4	Bill's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C4 - 295	The favourite WEONA DARLING was only fairly away and then angled outwards coming into contact with GOTTA FIND BUBBA. Despite this check WEONA DARLING then looped the field and won well. CAWBOURNE FLIPPA lost momentum on the turn when being held up on the back of COOL JORDIE.
Race 5	Buy Sell & Exchange NZ Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 1	KNOW CLASS was very slow to jump. MISS IRON FIST was badly tightened in the run to the first bend and then received a check as KNOW CLASS went past her. MISS IRON FIST dropped out to a long last with a post race veterinary check revealing no significant abnormalities.
Race 6	Buy Sell & Exchange NZ Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 2	NOT A KNOW settled last and then ran wide into the first bend losing ground. Into the back straight DYNA GROLL dipped and lost ground checking NOT A KNOW who lost more ground. THRILLING BLITZ ran outwards on the home turn causing ELKI to change ground and lose some momentum.
Race 7	Buy Sell & Exchange NZ Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 3	COME ON RODGE was a clear last in a straggly line from the traps. DYNA DIEGO received a check into the first bend and dropped to the rear.
Race 8	Buy Sell & Exchange NZ Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 4	TAKE NO PRISONER and the favourite ADMIRE were the last to jump. ADMIRE and SHA CHAR came together for a stride in the early stages. Into the first bend MAXIMUM JEWEL clipped the heels of SHA CHAR as that runner crossed to the inside. MAXIMUM JEWEL then ran outwards and badly checked LEKTRA FANTASY, TAKE NO PRISONER and ADMIRE with ADMIRE falling and the other checked runners losing all chance. ADMIRE was checked by the veterinarian and cleared of any injury. KING OF CLUBS weighed in 2.8 kgs above his last race weight with the connections advising that this weight was gained during an injury enforced spell and the intention was to keep the dog in this weight range for his immediate engagements.
Race 9	Buy Sell & Exchange NZ Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 5	PEKING TOM was last to jump. LOCHINVAR ONYX angled inwards checking WONNIE WONDER with this runner dropping to the rear. GRACE HILL ran wide into the first bend and lost ground dropping to the rear.
Race 10	Buy Sell & Exchange NZ Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 6	MOLLY PAISLEY ran inwards into the first bend causing MAGIC MAGGIE, GEOFF THE REF and STILL HELINA to fall and KIKI RHODE to be badly checked. MAGIC MAGGIE then ran back down the front straight towards the field. Due to the imminent danger Lure Driver Pete Knowles pulled the lure up at the top of the home straight. Under Rule 76.7 Stewards decided that it was not in the interests of the welfare of the dogs to re-run the race with the race therefore being abandoned. All dogs were checked by the veterinarian and no abnormalities were found.
Race 11	Buy Sell & Exchange NZ Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 7	KNOW SPUNK and JINJARANGO were the last to jump. JINJARANGO made slight contact with ULTIMATE DREAM into the first bend and then came together with MAHALO RHODE for a stride soon after losing momentum. In the home straight WALK DA TORQUE contacted the back of JINJARANGO and lost ground. WALK DA TORQUE was noticed to be lame after the race with the veterinary surgeon reporting that the dog has a wrist injury with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C3 - 295	This race was delayed by 3 minutes due to a late running harness race. RIZZ AROUND stayed wide in the run down the back straight hampering NO LANE for a distance. COOL CHARMER received a check when racing on the outside of RADIATOR SPRINGS and lost ground.
