| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295 | Leaving the boxes MIGHTY MONICA shifted in inconveniencing HOMEBUSH ACE. Shortly after the start ALL AGAINST ME and AVERSION came together for a stride. When entering the bend OHOKA BLUE checked off the heels of TWISTER AL losing momentum and shifting wider on the track. The connections of AVERSION attributed the improved performance to the assistance of the strapping of the dog which has stopped him running wide as he has in recent starts. |
| Race 2 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C0 - 295 | CASINO BLACK and RUNS LIKE AL were slow to leave the boxes. When leaving the back straight HARPER MEHL shifted in making contact with INNER BEAUTY jostling with this runner. INNER BEAUTY was then checked losing ground also checking RUNS LIKE AL. When rounding the bend into the straight INNER BEAUTY checked off the heels of CASINO BLACK when improving on the rails. |
| Race 3 | Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520 | There was a 2 minute delay to the start of this race at TAB request. BENDALLS BOY and MULBERRY HUNTER were slow away. When entering the first bend MULBERRY HUNTER shifted out onto OPAWA MOHAWK shifting this runner wider on the track losing ground. Rounding the bend HARLEY HAKA came back onto BENDALLS BOY with these runners coming together and HARLEY HAKA losing ground. OHOKA TAYLOR was held up for a run entering the final bend and in the early part of the home straight before shifting out to obtain clear running. OPAWA SWEDE was checked by the clubs veterinarian after falling under the rail at the lure with no injury being detected. |
| Race 4 | Jet Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | MULBERRY CATO and WELLYWOOD were slow away. Shortly after the start YES HE WILL shifted in on ZIP ZAP ZAPPER and KIOWA SUE with YES HE WILL losing ground. KIOWA SUE then shifted out checking ZIP ZAP ZAPPA, YES HE WILL and MULBERRY CATO. ZIP ZAP ZAPPA and MULBERRY CATO made contact rounding the bend. When entering into the home straight MULBERRY CATO shifted in making contact with YES HE WILL with YES HE WILL losing ground. |
| Race 5 | Business Time At Stud Dash - C1 - 295 | MR. JAKE BLUES was slow away. From the boxes BELFAST SKERTZ shifted in inconveniencing ANOTHER JEWEL. When leaving the back straight WHAT A DUMP commenced to shift out onto KENNYS COMET and AVEC LAMOUR with KENNYS COMET losing ground checking SEONG DUCK. WHAT A DUMP continued to shift out catching the heels of AVEC LAMOUR with both these runners losing ground. |
| Race 6 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C1 - 520 | FLYING MOE was slow away. After leaving the boxes OPAWA MIATA shifted out taking FLYING MOE wider on the track. When passing the winning post on the first occasion LIFES GREAT shifted in jostling with KNOW HONOUR with LIFES GREAT then losing ground. When rounding the final bend FUNNY MONEY was tightened between runners losing ground. |
| Race 7 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Dash - C2 - 295 | FOGGY STORM was slow to leave the boxes. When making their way into the first bend NAEVIA shifted in making brief contact with ULTIMATE SPICE. |
| Race 8 | Fanta Claws At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520 | LINE HONOURS came up with the lids with KIN NIKKI also slow to jump. PIED WARRIOR ran ourwards checking LINE HONOURS in the early stages while soon after KIN NIKKI also ran outwards causing KOMBUCHA to be checked and lose ground. The muzzle of the winner TAKE A TRICK was noticed to be flapping around the dogs neck in the running having worked loose. The muzzle was checked and found to be in good condition. |
| Race 9 | Wilson's Sports Bar & T.A.B. Sprint - C1 - 295 | The favourite JACKS FIRST was last to jump from the inside. HUSKER DU and NOISY LEO came together in the early stages and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 10 | Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C2 - 295 | DONT CALL ME was a clear last on jumping. As this runner was attempting to improve along the rail HOME TRUTH ran inwards with DONT CALL ME being checked and losing ground. |
| Race 11 | Flair Stakes - C2 - 520 | FEAR GO and KNOW CHAOS were slow to jump. OHOKA ZOE came together with FEAR GO on the first bend and dropped to the rear. A post race veterinary check of OHOKA ZOE revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 12 | Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C2 - 295 | SLIGHTLY AMAZING and ZED KAY MAN were the last from the traps. BLONDE TORI angled outwards in the back straight checking CAWBOURNE REEAH for a stride with the favourite losing momentum. Into the bend ALWAYS A STORY ran outwards pushing SLIGHTLY AMAZING and ZED KAY MAN over extra ground. |
| Race 13 | Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C1 - 295 | OHOKA HART checked outwards off the back of JIMMY CEE into the bend with resultant checks to CAMPAIGNER and OUR HOPE. OUR HOPE stumbled and took a spectacular fall at this stage. The dog the ran back to the lure with the veterinarian reporting no abnormalities as a result of the dog's misadventure. Following the race and on cooling down GALBA JOHN was found to have a ruptured biceps tendon with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
