Incident Reports

Race 1	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C0 - 375	HOT PAL went up with the lids at the start. Shortly after the start WABI SABI and GYPSY HUNTER were crowded for room between KAPAI MAX and NOBLE TOBIN(fav.). Racing into the first turn GYPSY HUNTER, NOBLE TOBIN and WOLF MARINE were all crowded when KAPAI MAX shifted in towards the rail with NOBLE TOBIN being checked and losing ground, hampering the trailing WABI SABI. Rounding the bend WOLF MARINE shifted outwards off the heels of HOT PAL forcing GYPSY HUNTER out, further checking NOBIN TOBIN and WABI SABI. NOBIN TOBIN was sent for a post race vet check which revealed no abnormalities.
Race 2	General Engravers Sprint - C4 - 375	Shortly after the start COSMIC PEARL angled in sharply from the outside box crowding EXCITING DREAM, QUICK CAT, PINT STAR and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH onto BELKARA which was shifting out. PINT STAR was checked and fell to the track. PINT STAR after regaining her feet recovered to finish onto the lure and was sent for a vet check which revealed no abnormalities.
Race 3	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C0 - 457	QUESTION ME was slow to begin.
Race 4	Mitre 10 Mega Cambridge Stakes - C1 - 457	VERY CHILLY and FUTURE PROOF were slow to begin. Racing down the back straight ZAGATO and FIVE TOO MANY jostled for several strides with FIVE TOO MANY losing ground. FIVE TOO MANY then ran wide rounding the final bend.
Race 5	SL Computing Services Sprint - C2 - 375	OPAWA JOHNNY was slow to begin. WINSOME ACHIEVER tightened NAUGHTY COURTY shortly after the start. Entering the final straight OPAWA JOHNNY was checked losing ground as THRILLING BOLT shifted in. THRILLING BOLT and NAUGHTY COURTY came together breifly shortly after. Trainer Mrs Michelle Mann layed a complaint with the stewards regarding the manner in which the lure was driven in the early stages of the race After viewing the replay with the Stewards Mrs Mann withdrew complaint
Race 6	Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C1 - 375	JAY CEE HURT and EXCITING GIRL jostled for several strides shortly after the start. Racing into the first turn CULLENS IMPACT shifted in checking EXCITING GIRL onto JAY CEE HURT with EXCITING GIRL losing ground.
Race 7	Clubhouse Sports Bar & Cafe Stakes - C4 - 457	THRILLING DEAL and ON TREY were slow to begin then bumped in to each other In the run in to the first turn RAGAZZA GAMBA came across running in to the shoulder of LOCHINVAR ELLE and HUSTLER RAGAZZA GAMBA went off stride going back to the rear pulling up to the lure some distance behind the field RAGAZZA GAMBA was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered a torn right gracilis muscle with a 28 day stand down recommended
Race 8	The Bulk Bag Co Ltd Sprint - C3 - 375	All clear.
Race 9	Kirstie McGrail @ Harcourts Sprint - C5 - 375	On leaving the boxes LIFES A DREAM stumbled and bumped in to TOI SHAN both runners recovered quickly in to stride racing to the first turn HARVEY NICHOLS was held up for some distance when he was tightened on to the hind quarters of WINSOME BUSTER
Race 10	Sergio At Stud Stakes - C1/2 - 457	Soon after the start TWIN RIVERS PEGEON APPEAL and HIT BOOST all came together for a stride or so On the top bend OPAWA CRUSHER was held for for several strides and was forced to check back off the heels of TWIN RIVERS
Race 11	All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C5 - 457	In the run to the first turn THRILLING RANSOM raced across on to CASH KNOCKA ASSEGAI with THRILLING BOSS being forced back from between runners soon after ALABASTER (fav) was tightened and checked being buffeted between runners for several strides losing a couple of lengths ALABASTER recovered to attempt to make ground on the top bend was checked back losing 5 lengths as THRILLING RANSOM crossed to the rail
Race 12	Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C3 - 457	As they cleared the boxes CAFE CHIC collided in to HOT POOTIE further in INDEED UNIQUE came across tightning BACKYARD BULLY (fav) on to WINSOME FLASH for a stride or so soon after CAFE CHICK ran in on to WINSOME FLASH with HIGH FLYER being severly hampered and buffeted for a few strides losing several lengths VALAINS FLYER from the outside box had a clear unimpeded run quickly getting to the lead and was never headed there after
