| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305 | OPAWA PRINCE was the slowest to begin but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. LEGEND BEE, ALL THE RAGE and NUTS FOR SURE came together and jostled for a few strides soon after the start and lost a little momentum. ALL THE RAGE checked off the heels of FAWN ALLEGRO going into the bend and shifted out into the line of HOMEBUSH BUFFY who was inconvenienced. BELFAST GLENDA suffered cuts to a toe and carpus and was stood down for 7 days. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 305 | The favourite KINETIC NEO began very awkwardly losing four lengths and he then bumped with LARA PINTER going into the bend losing a little momentum but ran on well from there to finish in 4th place. OPAWA WILD raced a little wide after starting from box 8 and she was checked losing ground on the home turn when KINETIC NEO shifted out when on a forward move and she finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C3 - C3 - 305 | GEORGE BAXTER and BIGTIME BENDER were the slowest to begin. GEORGE BAXTER made up ground well with the aid of a clear run through on the inside and finished in 2nd place. BIGTIME BENDER who was one of the favourites, was checked and pushed wide into the bend when COOL EXPLORER shifted out forcing GLENADDIS BOY and CAWBOURNE FLICK out onto BIGTIME BENDERS line and she never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C3 - C3 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK ELITE began awkwardly losing four lengths but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. One of the favourites SNAP TO IT was a little slow to begin then raced wide on the bend and was checked approaching the home straight when MICK MANIA drifted a little wide and SNAP TO IT finished in last place. |
| Race 5 | J P Print Petone C2 - C2 - 520 | SAMBUCCA, ASHVEGAS VALUE and RONRAY CRUISER came together and bumped losing a little ground soon after the start. WANDY KYLE shifted out slightly going to the first corner and inconvenienced JUST MAC who the shifted in and collided with OPAWA GIFT and they both lost ground and went back to the rear and stayed well back to the finish. |
| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | PLANKING shifted in from the start and checked LOUIELICIOUS who shifted in making contact with ANOTHER BLEND . LOUIELICIOUS continued to shift in and bumped with CAWBOURNE DARCY and they settled back in the field. LOUIELICIOUS then shifted out slightly going into the bend and checked CAWBOURNE DARCY who went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 7 | Mickey's Super Liquor C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | PIN UP PUPPY shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to TALEEDY TROOPER, BIMBOO, OPAWA SACHA and DIRECT REPONSE . TALEEDY TROOPER and DIRECT RESPONSE continue to bump together for some distance and shifted out going into the bend checking themselves and also BIMBOO and SHEEZA MEESHA and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places. |
| Race 8 | Broad Roofing C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | SPEEDY LEESHELLE shifted out onto SLANGEVAR going into the bend and OPAWA THORN, PARRA SPARRA and TAILS OFF who were further out were all forced over extra ground. |
| Race 9 | Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305 | FLYING FLYNN shifted in on the first corner and checked FREDDIE BAXTER and DARLEK KHAN who went back to the rear and they never recovered and finished in the last two places. FLYING FLYNN suffered a cut to a toe and was stood down for 7 days. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | The favourite THREE INCH NAIL was checked going to the first corner when MISSING MELODY shifted in and THREE INCH NAIL was then galloped on by BARRYS WAY and went back to near the rear. BARRYS WAY then shifted out to go wide into the first bend forcing THANKS CHARLIE to also run wide. THREE INCH NAIL was checked again going into the back straight when on the heels of BARRYS WAY and he went back to last and stayed there to the finish. THREE INCH NAIL was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. |
| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C5 - C5 - 305 | RUN A BATH was slow to begin and then shifted out across the heels of HOMEBUSH LIGNITE soon after losing further ground and stayed back for the entire race. CIAO FOR NOW shifted out going into the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE LEVI who lost two lengths. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305 | ROSEMORE OSTI shifted in from the start and checked ARIANA and GLENADDIS who settled back in the field. ARIANA and CHELSEAS BEAUTY bumped together going to the first corner losing ground and they stayed well back. CHELSEAS BEAUTY and CHASING SHADOWS bumped together soon after entering the home straight and they lost monmentum and finished in the rear group. |
