Track: Good The track was downgraded to Dead following the running of Race 4. The boxes failed to open for Race 6 with the remainding 295 mt races being started manually due to a broken proximity sensor.
Scales: Correct at all weights.
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Trainer B Shaw admitted a breach of rule 69.11 in that he presented Summerland King to race 2.1kg in excess of its last race weight. Mr Shaw was fined $100.00 in accordance with the minor infringement table . Upsalla Jewell was presented and examined by the club veterinarian and under the provisions of rule 82.6 cleared fit to start on Thursday 5/7/12.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	Rulebook Ray was a late scratching at kenneling when found to be suffering from a corn to the left hind pad.Nikau Danny ,Mighty Monica and Ohoka Summer were all slow to begin . Nikau Danny checked off the heels of Opawa Summer when tightened into the first bend.
Race 2	Happy 60th Birthday Alyson Rosanowski Dash - C0 - 295	Just Kristy which knocked an ear in the kennels and reopened an old wound, was cleared fit to start by the club veterinarian. Banbit was slow to begin. Axel Rows lost momentum when bumped by Noisy Leo shortly after the start. Calm Brooke and Just Kristy came together and jostled for a distance rounding the bend. Just Kristy was checked from behind, on straightening, by Ohoka Hart,losing momentum.
Race 3	$25,000 Terminating Turbo Pick 6 Leg 1 - C3 - 295	Reddy Boy was squeezed between Iona Haka and Another Coffee when racing into the first bend , Reddy Boy was further hampered when contacted from behind by Renners Gift .
Race 4	Culverden Hotel Stakes - C2 - 520	Follwing this event track conditions were downgraded to dead . Nitro Express was slow to begin . Know Fun was tightened and lost momentum when Mainland Star and Dyna Indigo shifted down the track shortly after the start. Okuku Dreamer was squeezed between Monty Dosh and Dyna Indigo racing into the bend at the end of the back straight losing momentum.
Race 5	Borat At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520	Ultimate Spice was unbalanced when bumped by Judge To Rule in the run to the first bend. Know Future and Judge to Rule made contact when rounding the bend out of the back straight.
Race 6	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C0 - 295	The boxes failed to activate for the start of this race with all runners undergoing a veterinary check prior to being cleared fit to run . The start of this event was a manual start.Candys Dandy was slow to begin . Phantom Haka lost momentum when checked from behind rounding the first bend .
Race 7	Flair Dash - C1 - 295	Tepirita Ali was slow to begin. Ohoka Gerry was checked from behind by Tepirita Ali and lost momentum rounding the bend.Trainer B Shaw informed the stewards that the weight increase for Summerland King was intended .
Race 8	Coaster's Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	Hampden Spirit was slow early. Belfast Muncha was tightened between Botany Bob and Are Tee May on the first bend losing momentum. Belfast Muncha was attended to post race by the clubs veterinarian and found to be suffering from an abraision to the left hind foot with a 5 day stand down being imposed .
Race 9	Willy What At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520	Pied Warrior was slow to begin . In the run to the first bend Know Chaos shifted off the rail and hampered Site An Excuse, Miss Fit, Parole to Excel, Ohoka Sandy and Fear Go. Into the back straight Parole To Excel and Ohoka Sandy made firm contact and became unbalanced as a result
Race 10	Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes - C0 - 520	Junior What was slow to begin . Into the first bend Line Honour,Choose To Love and Green Treats came together and jostled . Rounding the bend into the back straight Know Honour shifted outwards and made contact with Choose To Love and Green Treats , both of which were unbalanced and lost ground.
Race 11	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295	Homebush Craig shifted outwards shortly after the start and hampered Twister Al, Gotta Find Bubba and Salvadore Bale . In the run to the first bend Salvadore Bale shifted down the track and tightened Gotta Find Bubba and Twister Al resulting in these runners losing momentum .
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295	Finger Pop was very slow to begin.
