SHES COMING and RUTHLESS bumped together going into the first corner and SHES COMING then galloped on the heels of CLUAIN MEALA and went back onto RUTHLESS with all three dogs losing ground. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 520 | TOP PLAYER began awkwardly losing ground and he stayed back throughout the race. OTEWA BELLA was handy going into the final bend but was checked losing several lengths and DARBY LANE was also checked in the incident. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305 | JOHNNY WAGTAIL was slow to begin losing two lengths. SEDGEBROOK SKITE shifted out going to the first corner and checked ANOTHER FANTASY who lost ground and went back to last. Several strides further on SEDGEBROOK SKITE again shifted out and chec ked over the heels of CIRCLE OF LIFE losing ground and he went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 520 | KIWI RANGER shifted out from the start and checked PARTY ROCK and SUMMERTIME BOBBY and SUMMERTIME BOBBY fell and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with trapezius muscle pain. GO CARTER GO and TIME FOR WHAT were checked going into the first corner and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group. |

REBEL JOE shifted in sharply soon after the start and caused checks to CANVAS RIDER, ANOTHER GUNNA and ALL IN ALL who all lost ground. ALL IN ALL and INTENSE ZOOM came together and bumped just short of the finish line. |
| Race 6 | Wanganui Security C1 Final - C1f - 305 | The race was started 2 minutes late at the request of Raceday Control. DONT CALL ME and BIGTIME JET were slow to begin losing two lengths. MASONYX and MATTI OAH bumped together when the start was made and MASONYX lost a length. MATTI OAH shifted in going into the first corner and collided with THRILLING SQUEAL with both losing ground. MATTI OAH suffered the most and he made firm contact with the rail losing several lengths and finished in last place and he was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 7 | Mickeys Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | RIJEKA and JUKE BOX BOY came together going into the first corner when WORKING WORKING shifted in and theY were checked when SALVADOR BALE then galloped on the back of RIJEKA and all three lost several lengths and finished in the last three places. RIJEKA was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. |
| Race 8 | Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 520 | DELUSIVE and OPAWA STU were slow to begin losing three lengths. HAIR SHE IS shifted in on the first corner checking itself and also ANOTHER COURSE and THRILLING CLOUD and they lost several lengths. THRILLING CLOUD was the most affected and she dropped out to trail the field home by several lengths and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 305 | ANOTHER JEWEL and KEZZ were the slowest to begin losing two lengths. ANOTHER JEWEL shifted in on the first turn and caused checks to CANDYS DANDY and KEZZ and THRILLING NEWS was forced to race wide into the bend by the incident and they all lost ground and finished in the last three places. MAC TAN and BILLY HAKA bumped together approaching the home straight and MAC TAN became unbalanced and shifted out forcing BILLY HAKA and IMPERATIVE wide into the straight over extra ground. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 | FLAYOSC drifted off the back of the field on the first bend and finished in last place. BOTANY COMET was checked losing three lengths entering the back straight and soon after RED HOT DUTCH was also checked and dropped back several lengths and finished in 2nd last place. FLAYOSC and RED HOT DUTCH were both examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. |
| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 305 | BIGTIME LATTE was the slowest to begin losing three lengths. MISSY MACABRE and SCOTT ME GOING were also a little slow to begin and MISSY MACABRE then checked off the back of AGENT JORGE going into the bend and shifted out to collide with SCOTT ME GOING and they lost four lengths BIGTIME LATTE galloped on the back of DOGGER BANK on the bend and both lost ground. MISSY MACABRE and DOGGER BANK collided on the home turn when racing at the rear of the field. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305 | ANOTHER COLT was slow to begin losing four lengths. KINETIC FLYER checked off the heels of BIGTIME TREASURE going into the bend and shifted out checking CYCLONE SIX and NEW ORDER who lost four lengths and all chance. LUCYLICIOUS shifted out on the bend and checked FIRE BOY BAXTER and KINETIC FLYER. |
