Race 1	C B Norwood Farm Machinery Sprint - C0 - 310	SECRET VENUS, WANDY DYLAN and the favourite SMASH AMY were all a touch slow to begin. SMASH AMY was then checked for a stride as BLUE SHORTS angled inwards in the back straight. She made ground to finish third.
Race 2	Otago First4 Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	The favourite INDIS GRACE and GABATEPE BEME were the slowest from the traps. INDIS GRACE was then badly held up into the bend when disappointed for a run to the inside of SEE SPOT RUN with INDIS GRACE's momentum being halted. ANOTHER WARNING was inconvenienced at this point as was GABATEPE BEME who ran wide and lost ground. INDIS GRACE then checked off SECRET NICOLE on the home turn and lost a length.
Race 3	St Kilda Veterinary Clinic Sprint - C1 - 310	BLACK OZARK and SMASH AMEGO were the last to jump. Into the bend FROGGY NEWITT was severely checked as MAGGIE DEE angled inwards with both runners having their chances extinguished. JOHNNYS BLUE and SMASH AMEGO were also hampered in this incident. A post race veterinary check of FROGGY NEWITT revealed the dog to be free of injury.
Race 4	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C1/2 - 545	PUKEKO FLYER was last to jump. CASLEY and SEA SPRAY DORIS came together in the early stages. WANDY CHLOE the favourite angled inwards into the first bend as BAKE BEAN BETTY was attempting to get to the outside with tightening being caused to WANDY PAUL and NOGGIN who both lost ground and together with the instigator WANDY CHLOE dropped to the rear. SHADOW WOLF shifted up the track in the run home causing PUKEKO FLYER to be forced wider.
Race 5	Blue Bubble Dunedin Taxis Sprint - C4/5 - 310	Tightening in the early stages caused SHUNT APPEAL and TEPIRITA TIKI to lose ground and TRICKY HARRY to go down on his nose and nearly fall dropping to a clear last. TEPIRITA TIKI then checked outwards off THRILLING SADIE into the bend and forced CAWBOURNE DUSTY very wide. CAWBOURNE DUSTY then clipped the rail on the home turn and lost ground. Stewards requested the veterinarian to check CAWBOURNE DUSTY and TRICKY HARRY as a result of these incidents with no abnormalities being detected.
Race 6	Speedprint Shop Sprint - C2/3 - 310	THRILLING JONAH was a shade slow from the traps. TOWER ran inwards in the initial stages tightening HIT THE LIP, SURF QUAKE and WHERES JOHN CEE who all lost ground. Soon after JOHNNIE GEORGE angled inwards contacting SURF QUAKE and HIT THE LIP who were both running outwards. Into the bend JOHNNIE GEORGE continued his hunt for the rail with HIT THE LIP and THRILLING JONAH being checked and all three dogs dropping to the rear.
Race 7	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C1/2 - 310	MOON AND SEA was the last to jump. CAWBOURNE JAKE angled outwards into the bend checking AUTUMN SPIRIT who lost ground.
Race 8	Racing Again Next Tuesday Sprint - C1 - 310	MOREPORT SHANNON and RUBY'S GIRL were the last to jump. SHEZA COOL ONE was checked into the bend and lost ground causing some inconvenience to MOREPORT SHANNON and RUBYS GIRL in behind. WANDY DEVIL stumbled for a stride on the home turn losing momentum with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormalities.
