| Race 1 | Manawatu Raceway C0 - C0 - 375 | CALL ILLUSION shifted in from the start and checked TALK IT OVER who lost ground and settled at the rear but he recovered well to win the race narrowly. The favourite CALL ILLUSION was midfield going into the bend but drifted back to be several lengths last and stayed back to finish in that position and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a latissimus dorsi muscle injury. HEAR HARE HERE and RUN MISCHIEF RUN raced wide on the bend and into the straight and lost ground as a result. |
| Race 2 | Beltdrive C1 - C1 - 375 | RUN JUNIOR RUN shifted in sharply from the start and checked CALL ME RALPH and BIGTIME LATTE who both lost ground and settled at the rear. WILD VAGABOND shifted out from the rail going to the first corner and bumped FULLA TORQUE who was momentarily hindered and WILD VAGABOND continued out checking BIGTIME JET and they both lost several lengths and finished in the last two places. WILD VAGABOND was examined by the Vet at the Trainers request and stood down for 10 days with tricep and sartorius muscle injuries. BIGTIME LATTE raced wide into the straight covering extra ground and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 3 | Tasman Tanning C2 Ht1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1 | DOING THE TIME and NUTS FOR SURE were slow to begin losing three lengths. BELFAST GLENDA and ALL THE RAGE were handy just behind the leader going into the bend but they bumped together losing ground and LINDOP who was just in behind was also checked and lost several lengths. |
| Race 4 | Elite Powder Coaters C2 Ht2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2 | BIGTIME SURPRISE began very awkwardly losing four lengths and she raced at the rear with an unusual galloping action and finished in last place and was examined by the Vet and stood down for three days with carpus abrasions. KAZILLION shifted in from the start and caused checks to BLACK MERCEDES, GUNNA EXCITE and LARA PINTER who all lost ground. |
| Race 5 | Nanas Knickers C2 Ht3 - C2q - 375 Heat 3 | SASHAS ONE shifted in going into the bend and bumped with HOMEBUSH KELLY who went back onto LIGHTNING FEVER and they both lost several lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 6 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C1 - C1 - 457 | RON BAXTER and OPAWA STU collided twice early in the race and RON BAXTER suffered the most losing three lengths. DUM DIDDLY DO and SAUCY TOMATO led by four lengths on the bend but DUM DIDDLY DO then shifted out forcing SAUCY TOMATO very wide into the home straight and then shifted out on two further occasions marring SAUCY TOMATO. DUM DIDDLY DO was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1a and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81. |
| Race 7 | Scott Installations C3 - C3 - 375 | WEE DIGER shifted in from the start and brushed with CLONE YOUR OWN and he then shifted out and collided with DRYSDALE and CAWBOURNE FLICK with all three dogs losing ground. WEE DIGER and CAWBOURNE FLICK then collided losing ground going into the bend and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |

WISE CRACK LAD faltered and went off stride on the bend and he drifted back to finish several lengths last, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a flexor tendon injury. |
| Race 9 | Manawatu Harness Racing Club C1/2 - C1/2 - 457 | RONRAY CRUISER was slow to begin losing two lengths and she settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race. |
| Race 10 | Trophy Specialist & Engraving C5 - C5 - 375 | MINDARIVA eased off the heels of CAWBOURNE JOSE going into the bend and lost a little momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 11 | Emerge Architectural Design C4 - C4 - 457 | LOCHINVAR ONYX was the slowest to begin from box 8 but kept up a strong run out wide to win the race. ENDORSE shifted out going to the first corner and this resulted in jostling to himself and also FREDDY JOHN, REALON ROSE and DYNA DIEGO and they all lost ground in the incident. |

MAGIC MAGGIE shifted out from the start and checked BENNY ROX and MINT POWER who both lost ground. BENNY ROX lost further ground going into the first corner when easing off the heels of MAGIC MAGGIE but once into clear racing room, BENNY ROX finished well for 2nd placing. |
