Judicial report: Trainer Christine Ramsey was issued with a warning after being slightly late to retrieve her runner for Race 10.

| Race 1 | Reel Fishin.com Series Heat 1 - C4q - 318 Heat 1 | COLLISION RISK drifted to the rear in the early stages remaining tailed off throughout. Stewards requested a post race veterinary check of this bitch with this revealing torn abdominal muscles with a 30 day stand down recommended. FANCY MILLY angled outwards into the bend checking BIG SAM'S GIRL with this runner losing ground. Leigh Hamerton the handler of the winner DOLLY SCRAMBLE was questioned in regards to her improved performance. He stated that she has not enjoyed the outside draws of late but today's middle draw suited her together with a recent downgrade and a loss in weight for today's race. |
| Race 2 | www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 318 | WHERE"S THE CAT, TAPU BOY and SAM BOY were all slow from the jump. TAKE ON ME was checked into the bend as KYIRRIE ran inwards losing ground and again on the home turn as MOUSE HOUSE angled outwards. TAPU BOY ran outwards into the bend and pushed SAM BOY wide with these runners losing ground and their chances. BIGTIME ROLLIE cramped up badly after this event with no stand down being deemed necessary. Trainer Ron O'Regan advised Stewards that he would be discussing the racing future of this dog with the owner and obtaining a certificate of fitness if he is to race again. |
| Race 3 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 318 | NODDY'S MISTRESS was a clear last on dispatch. COOL TIME jumped outwards coming together with BELLSWILL for a stride. Into the bend NAUGHTY COURTY ran inwards and came together with COOL TIME. NAUGHTY COURTY then dropped out to run last with a post race veterinary check revealing a minor triceps muscle injury with a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 4 | Reel Fishin.com Series Heat 2 - C4q - 318 Heat 2 | GLOW BELLE DOLL angled outwards in the run down the back straight with CAWBOURNE MADZ, RUBY TRON and HOLLAND BADGER all receiving some tightening and losing ground. EMMA'S SECRET was tightened into the bend as HOLLAND BADGER crossed from her outside losing ground. The favourite ATE PIZZA angled inwards sharply on the turn to reach the lead with NATHAN'S CHAMP being slightly inconvenienced. LACHLAN VALLEY ran a touch wide on the bend losing some ground. |
| Race 5 | Plaster Board LTD Stakes - C3 - 527 | INDEED UNIQUE was the last to jump. EDWARD CULLEN and SIPPIN TEQUILA came together for a stride in the initial stages. SIPPIN TEQUILA ran inwards into the first bend tightening INDEED UNIQUE who checked outwards losing ground. Soon after HOT POOTIE angled outwards contacting TATA SAFARI and lost ground. HOT POOTIE then tightened HAIR HE IS who lost momentum. |
| Race 6 | Thornton Auctions Sprint - C1 - 318 | STAT ME UP was the slowest from the traps. COSMIC PEARL ran inwards in the early stages checking SECRET STAR who lost ground with COSMIC PEARL losing some momentum at this stage. |
| Race 7 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C2 - 318 | This race was delayed by three minutes as requested by Raceday Control. FOUR TOO MANY was the slowest from the inside. ASTUTE WHIZ and MUNCHIN' KRUNCH brushed together for a stride in the early stages. Into the bend RHODA HOLMES galloped on the back of VIOHLAY with both runners coming to grief. CULLEN'S IMPACT was badly affected and lost his chance in this incident. The two fallers found their paws and completed the race. A post race veterinary check revealed a fractured radius for VIOHLAY with a 60 day stand down recommended. Due to a miscommunication RHODA HOLMES was not presented to the vet with Trainer Brent Littlejohn being informed that a certificate of fitness is required for RHODA HOLMES before his next start. |
| Race 8 | Jo's TAB Onehunga Sprint - C2 - 318 | Trainer Henny Laagland reported to Stewards that HIGH FLYER had taken no harm from her incident at Cambridge on Thursday with this information being relayed to the public. EXACT MASTER was a clear last on jumping. CRAFTY GRAHAM was intent on getting to the rail in the back straight tightening QUICK CAT in this manouevre. AGENT VICTOR received some tightening into the bend and lost a length with EXCUSABLE being inconvenienced in behind. |
| Race 9 | Auckland Vending Sprint - C5 - 318 | FLYING FLYNN and EXCITING DREAM were both tightened into the bend losing ground with WINSOME BUSTER having to check wide to avoid these runners. CAPTAIN RICHIE angled wide on the home turn pushing WINSOME BUSTER over extra ground. |
| Race 10 | $50K Pick6 Stakes - C5 - 527 | KNOCKA KNOWS ALL was last on jumping. CARUBA QUEEN angled outwards into the first bend and this together with pressure from outside runners resulted in THRILLING SPRAT and AIN'T NO SAINT being severely tightened and losing their chances. These two runners were subsequently checked by the veterinary surgeon. AIN'T NO SAINT was diagnosed with a subcutaneous haemorrage with a 21 day stand down recommended with THRILLING SPRAT being cleared of injury. |
| Race 11 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C1 - 527 | KEZZ was tardy from the traps. FIRESIDE BLAZE ran inwards into the first bend tightening KEZZ, EXCITING GIRL and RHYME IN MELODY with the latter two runners losing many lengths and their winning chances. |
| Race 12 | $5,000 Bonus Quaddie Sprint - C5 - 318 | PERCENTAGE MAN was the last from the traps. MY JACK ATTACK was tightened down the track into the bend on to COOL AND DRY with MY JACK ATTACK then running outwards and pushing PERCENTAGE MAN wider around that bend. |
| Race 13 | NZ Racing Series Sprint Final - NZRSf - 318 | CHASING SHADOWS was the slowest to jump. The favourite WE'RE SO LUCKY was only fairly away and then tightened along the inside by CHASING SHADOWS into the bend when attempting to improve with this check effectively extinguishing his chances. KIWI GIRL ran wide and covered extra ground on the home turn. |
| Race 14 | Carol's TABs Stakes - C4 - 527 | The favourite FANCY TIP was the last to jump. On the home turn STYLISH START ran outwards and marred the running of LEKTRA FANTASY for some distance when these runners were contesting the lead. As this was her third offence under this Rule STYLISH START was stood down for 1 year under Rule 80.1.a. and must complete a satisfactory trial. Closer in SURFING AL and LOCHINVAR VALERO came together with LOCHINVAR VALERO losing ground. |
| Race 15 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C3 - 318 | THRILLING ISSUES ran outwards in the early stages and tightened PRIDE OF SOUTH, SAFE AND SECURE and BEARLY POSSIBLE. PRIDE OF SOUTH then dropped out to the rear and was found to be suffering from cramp with no stand down deemed necessary. |
