Track: Good The track was presented in very good order and with the equipment all operating well , the meeting proceeded smoothly throughout and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer J.T.McInerney was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 o for using unsound equipment after BOTANY ZENA escaped from the Handler prior to race 4 and galloped some distance on concrete and suffered toe nail injuries which resulted in the dog being a late scratching. The Stewards inspected the lead and found the clip to be in unsatisfactory condition.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305	ALL THE RAGE shifted out and VICKIS QUEST shifted in from the start and this resulted in checks to HOMEBUSH HELLS and CYCLONE SIX who lost ground and went back to the rear and ALL THE RAGE also lost ground in the incident. HOMEBUSH HELLS recovered the best of those affected and she finished a close 4th.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	SNAP TO IT shifted out from the start and checked SYDENHAM SAM and ENAZUMA who went back to the rear. ENAZUMA recovered well to finish in 2nd place but SYDENHAM SAM raced up onto the heels of THRILLING LYRIC on the bend and checked losing three lengths and finished in last place. SNAP TO IT continued to shift out going to the first corner and checked itself and also THRILLING PETRA and they went back to near the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C2 Final - C2f - 520	KAZILLION shifted in sharply from the start and caused checks to TWIN TIGERS, SHODSIE, PETROL VOUCHER and LOTTO PROFIT and they all lost ground and settled in the last four places. PETROL VOUCHER recovered the best of them and finished in 2nd place. TWIN TIGERS shifted out going into the first bend and checked SHODSIE and LOTTO PROFIT who both lost three lengths.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	PATH TO PALMY, BEARLY POSSIBLE and CHARLI CLANG jostled together for several strides soon after the start and settled at the rear. SLANGEVAR shifted in on the first corner and checked BELFAST KING and SHEZA RATBAG who both lost two lengths.
Race 5	J P Print C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	THRILLING DEAL began awkwardly losing two lengths. THRILLING TUNE was checked going into the first bend and lost three lengths. HAIR HE IS shifted in on the first bend and checked JAG YOU ARE who went back and out colliding with THRILLING DEAL and they lost several lengths and all chance of a first three placing.
Race 6	Palamountains Nutrition C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	SAHARA RAMA shifted in from the start and checked WATERBUG and OPAWA PRINCE who both lost ground and settled back in the field. OPAWA PRINCE shifted in going into the bend and checked COOL EXPLORER who lost three lengths and went back to last.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C4 - C4 - 305	EVER SO HOPEFUL, OPAWA SACHA and TALEEDY TROOPER came together and jostled for several strides on the bend and they all lost ground and finished in the rear group. EVER SO HOPEFUL was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with bicep femoris muscle pain in both hind legs.
Race 8	Broad Roofing C4 - C4 - 305	HOMEBUSH BRITNEY was checked back to last on the first corner and she stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. BIMBOO checked of the heels of PIN UP PUPPY on the bend and lost three lengths . WISE CRACK LAD raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and finished in 4th place.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	OPAWA THORN and CORBY collided when the start was made and they settled at the rear. SASSAFRAS shifted out going into the bend and checked PLANKING who went back causing a check to AERIAL BAXTER .
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	All clear.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	WHAT A PEANUT was the slowest to begin but he made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. HOWLIN WIND and BILLY WHIZZ bumped together on the bend and HOWLIN WIND went back and out slightly causing checks to COMPLICIT and CAWBOURNE TANK and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	One of the favourites DONNA BAXTER was awkwardly placed between runners going to the first corner and was shuffled back to last place and she never recovered and finished in the rear group.
