| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295 | WINSTON WHO and AVERSION were the last to jump. WINSTON WHO ran outwards into the bend with AVERSION, HOMEBUSH GRETA and BLACK JAY all being inconvenienced and losing ground. |
| Race 2 | Carols T.A.B. Sprint - C0 - 295 | MULBERRY CATO and OPAWA BEN were slow to jump. OUR HOPE ran outwards soon after the jump and checked PANCHO PISTOLES for a stride. Into the bend HANNAH ran outwards pushing ANOTHER GUNNA wider and coming together with that runner. OUR HOPE was pushed very wide at this stage. Soon after MULBERRY CATO ran to the outside and marred the running of HANNAH with OUR HOPE being pushed onto the grass verge. As OUR HOPE joined the track in the home straight MULBERRY CATO then came together and marred that runner. Trainer Ken Cassidy admitted a breach of Rule 80.1.a. with MULBERRY CATO being stood down for 28 days and being required to complete a satisfactory trial. A post race veterinary check of HANNAH revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 3 | Hampden Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295 | NO LANE the favourite was very slow to jump with CAWBOURNE CATCH and HOMEBUSH COLT also dwelling at the start. NO LANE brushed the running rail into the bend and then checked outwards off the back of HOMEBUSH COLT pushing CAWBOURNE CATCH very wide with these runners losing their chances. A post race veterinary check of NO LANE revealed no injury. |
| Race 4 | Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Heat - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | KENNYS COMET and OPAWA MOHAWK were the slowest to jump. OPAWA MOHAWK remained well back until the home turn and was noticed making ground late for fifth. ANGEL DABYNE ran inwards in the early stages coming together with ANOTHER FANTASY. WIND UP WHITEY was tightened at the end of the back straight losing momentum. She made ground again to finish third. |
| Race 5 | Self Service TAB @ Chats Bar Dash - C0 - 295 | TALK IT OVER was very slow to jump. ANOTHER BECKY ducked inwards for a stride at the jump. ANOTHER BECKY ran inwards into the bend coming together with REDIAL with these two runners both being badly checked. EMMA ROSE then ran into ANOTHER BECKY and took a spectacular fall with TALK IT OVER and GREEN TREATS being inconvenienced in behind. Soon after REDIAL and ANOTHER BECKY came together again with REDIAL clipping the rail. Stewards requested the veterinarian to check REDIAL, ANOTHER BECKY and EMMA ROSE with no abnormalities being detected. |
| Race 6 | Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Heat - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | KNOW LIES, TIME FOR WHAT and JINJA POP were all slow away. ROLLEM OUT JOANY ran outwards in the early stages coming together with OPAQUE. |
| Race 7 | Sky High Scaffolding Dash - C2 - 295 | HOT SHOT LAWYER and EXCESSIVE SPEED were the last on settling. OKUKU BOBO shifted up the track into the bend pushing JIMMY CEE and EXCESSIVE SPEED over extra ground. |
| Race 8 | Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Heat - C0q - 520 Heat 3 | The favourite OPAWA NO EAR was last to jump from the outside. OPAWA NO EAR was then desperate to get to the rail into the bend clipping off the back of ZIGGY WAR PAINT and running inwards checking ANOTHER SNAZZA and FIVE TOO MANY who lost ground. OPAWA NO EAR was turned sideways in this incident and lost ground. OPAWA NO EAR then came together with UNO FLASH on the home turn when continuing his quest for the rail with both dogs losing momentum. |
| Race 9 | Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C3 - 295 | BIGTIME YAHOO was the last on jumping. WANDY LUCK came together with ZO LA DOE into the bend and lost ground. The favourite CLONE YOUR OWN shouldered MISS IRON FIST out of its way into the bend when improving wide with this runner losing ground. On the home turn BENNYS ANGEL checked off WANDY LUCK losing momentum. |
| Race 10 | Flatpack Houses call Murray ph.021480250 Stakes - C1 - 520 | FUNNY MONEY was the last to jump. SALUTE TO RADAR was checked into the first bend and stumbled for a stride losing ground and pushing an improving FUNNY MONEY wider on the track. A post race veterinary check of SALUTE TO RADAR revealed no injury. |
| Race 11 | controlinsulation.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520 | KNOW ATTEMPT missed the jump badly settling last. PAROLE TO EXCEL angled outwards into the first bend tightening DITTMAN and FIREMANS ROCKET. |
| Race 12 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C3 - 295 | DRYSDALE, RADIATOR SPRINGS and RIZZ AROUND all dwelt at the start. RIZZ AROUND and STILL HELINA were tightened into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 13 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C1 - 295 | CALL ME RALPH and HOMEBUSH CRUZ were the slowest to hit their straps. ARMOUR crossed the face of the field checking OPAWA CHARLIE who lost ground. LINSATION was hampered and ran outwards at this stage causing OPAWA CHARLIE, CAWBOURNE REEAH, CALL ME RALPH and HOMEBUSH CRUZ all to lose ground and their realistic winning chances. |
| Race 14 | Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C1 - 295 | MR. JAKE BLUES and WANDY DESTINY were the slowest from the traps. FUR PATROL ran outwards in the back straight hampering HOME BREWER and MY LITTLE OAH for a few strides. Into the bend WANDY DESTINY checked off the back of the favourite ELKI with ELKI being dragged down and losing ground. MR. JAKE BLUES and MY LITTLE OAH were both badly checked in this incident losing their chances. On the home turn ELKI checked outwards off HOME BREWER losing momentum before running on for third. Stewards requested a veterinary check of ELKI that revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 15 | Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295 | MIGHTY MONICA ran inwards sharply at the jump checking HOMEBUSH COCO and OHOKA ZOE who lost ground. Into the bend PERFECT CLARITY angled inwards with OHOKA ZOE again being the benefactor of the check and dropping to the rear. |
