GUCCI RUSH shifted out going to the first corner and collided with DOLLY WIND and both lost ground with DOLLY WIND being the most affected and she lost several lengths and finished in last place. |
| Race 2 | Beltdrive C1 - C1 - 457 | SAND BUSTER was checked when the start was made and settled well back. The favourite SAMBUCCA was slow to begin and she then raced wide covering extra ground and finished in 7th place. |
| Race 3 | Tasman Tanning C0 - C0 - 375 | SQUEEZER and WORKING POLAR both began awkwardly losing several lengths. WORKING POLAR stayed back to finish last but SQUEEZER made up ground very well and was in 3rd place just short of the finish line when he galloped on the heels of GO FERN GO and lost ground and finished in 5th place. |
| Race 4 | Elite Powder Coaters C1/2 - C1/2 - 457 | SMOOCHA and THRILLING TUNE were slow to begin losing four lengths. SMOOCHA recovered the best of the two and finished in 3rd place. |
| Race 5 | Nanas Knickers C1 - C1 - 375 | BIGTIME JET shifted in from the start and caused checks to RUN JUNIOR RUN, EXCITED ROYAL, COSMIC MACK and LOOKS DECIEVING who all lost ground. MASONYX shifted in going into the bend and checked FALSE IMPRESSION who lost two lengths. |

| Race 9 | Manawatu Harness Racing Club C4 - C4 - 375 | CAWBOURNE JOSE shifted in from the start and caused checks to MINI'S FANTASY, BIGTIME WHIZZ and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY who lost ground and settled at the rear. EVER SO HOPEFUL shifted in going into the bend and checked LEADFOOT LENNY who lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 10 | Trophy Specialist and Engraving C5 - C5 - 375 | ENABLE drifted off the back of the field from the start and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a post race distress syndrome. The favourite DARLYNE OTTEY was awkwardly placed between TOI SHAN and BIGTIME ALLGO on the first corner and lost ground but once into the clear, she finished reasonably well for 3rd placing. |
