| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295 | REDIAL checked off the back of TOP PLAYER into the bend and stumbled losing his chance. Into the bend ANOTHER JEWEL angled inwards with WANDY DESTINY being dragged down and losing ground along with EMMA ROSE. Post race veterinary checks of WANDY DESTINY and REDIAL revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 2 | Borat At Stud Stakes - C0 - 520 | TIME FOR WHAT and QUIET SNORT dwelt at the start. KIN NIKKI ran outwards into the first bend checking TIME FOR WHAT with both dogs losing ground. |
| Race 3 | Happy Birthday Kirsty Taylor Sprint - C0 - 295 | KIOWA SUE was a clear last at the jump. HANNAH ran inwards in the early stages forcing MARMALADE SKIES down the track with this runner contacting MULBERRY CATO for a stride. HANNAH then angled outwards coming together with ANOTHER SNAZZA. Into the bend TALK IT OVER checked outwards off the back of MULBERRY CATO and badly checked HANNAH, KIOWA SUE and MARMALADE SKIES who fell. Stewards requested the veterinarian to check MARMALADE SKIES, KIOWA SUE and HANNAH following the race with these checks revealing no abnormalities. |
| Race 4 | The Miller Bar & Cafe Stakes - C1 - 520 | KNOW THOUGHT, BIG TOKEN and AXEL GRINDER were all slow to jump with KNOW THOUGHT accelerating quickly to be in front into the first bend. BIG TOKEN and AXEL GRINDER came together for a stride with a lap to go. ANOTHER COURSE checked outwards after being tightened into the first bend and lost ground settling at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C0 - 295 | MR. JAKE BLUES was a shade slow from the inside. RAKAIA FLYER angled outwards into the bend checking RANDY OUTSIDE. On the bend RAKAIA FLYER turned its head outwards and marred RANDY OUTSIDE with KENNYS COMET also being badly checked in this incident. RAKAIA FLYER was stood down under Rule 80.1.a. for 28 days with a satisfactory trial having to be completed. |
| Race 6 | Farewell Marlene Bateman Stakes - C1 - 520 | KNOW ATTEMPT was very slow to jump. ARMOUR ran inwards sharply in the early stages checking OHOKA ZOE and FIREMANS ROCKET with these runners dropping to the rear. |
| Race 7 | Sky High Scaffolding Sprint - C2 - 295 | DRYSDALE and NO LANE were a shade slow from the jump. Into the bend OKUKU SKYHIGH angled away from the rail and caused major interference with BLONDE TORI, BOTANY BARB, HOT SHOT LAWYER and MAINLAND STAR all copping checks and losing ground. MAINLAND STAR was the worst affected with a post race veterinary check revealing a sprained wrist with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 8 | 2012 Christchurch City Classic Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1 | OPAWA JED was last to jump. Into the first bend BOTANY NANA ran inwards and tightened RAMBUNCTIOUS, BABY JAMES and NOT A KNOW with these runners losing a lot of ground. BOTANY COMET also was checked in this incident. BOTANY NANA fell at this stage and failed to complete the journey with a post race veterinary check revealing a fractured leg with a 28 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 9 | Coaster's Tavern Dash - C1 - 295 | WINSTON WHO came up with the lids and settled last. BELFAST SUZY was turned sideways into the bend and lost ground with FULLA TORQUE running outwards and losing momentum. |
| Race 10 | Trades Insurance Ph 0800246020 Dash - C2 - 295 | AVEC LAMOUR and TIE MY TIE came together in the back straight when well back. |
| Race 11 | 2012 Christchurch City Classic Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2 | BOBS EYE and KNOW CONFLICT were the last to jump. KNOW CONFLICT ran wide into the first bend losing ground. BOTANY PRANCER ran outwards at the end of the back straight checking GIRL RACER and BOBS EYE who lost ground. |
| Race 12 | Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C3 - 295 | GOTTA FIND BUBBA ran inwards in the back straight checking PEARLS BOY who dropped to the rear. Into the bend CAWBOURNE EMO was tightened and lost ground. BIGTIME YAHOO ran outwards on the home turn checking RADIATOR SPRINGS who lost momentum. |
| Race 13 | Culverden Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295 | OHOKA GERRY ran outwards in the back straight coming together with FIRE BOY BAXTER with both dogs losing momentum. AVERSION ran wide on the home turn and lost some ground. |

| Race 15 | Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295 | CALM RITA was a clear last on jumping. TIPPYS TORPEDO was keen to run inwards in the back straight with JUNIOR WHAT being inconvenienced for some distance and losing ground. These two dogs again came together on the home turn with the pair of them dropping to the rear. |
