Track: Good The track was well presented and with all equipment working well, the meeting proceeded without incident and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: A greyhound ( KERRYS DELIGHT ) escaped from the Trainers vehicle during the running of a race and ran around the outside of the track fence during a race before being captured and examined by the Vet and was stood down for 5 days with small cuts to both hind feet. The Stewards examined the door catches in the Trainers vehicle which were found to be in good repair and so no further action was considered necessary. Handler Victoria Martin failed to catch a dog following race 8 and as this was her first ever breach of any G.R.N.Z Rules, she was issued with a warning on this occasion.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	YEAH NAH and EMMA ROSE were slow to begin losing three lengths and they stayed back throughout the race. ANOTHER STONE was handy enough going into the first corner but ran wide over extra ground on the bend and drifted back to finish in last place.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0F - C0f - 520	MATILDAS BABE and THATS KING shifted in from the start and caused checks to MY GIRL IZZY, FLYING MOE and ANOTHER COURSE who all lost ground and settled at the rear. CALM BROOKE and HEAR HARE HERE collided on the first corner losing ground and OTEWA BELLA, FLYING MOE and ANOTHER COURSE were also affected in the incident with OTEWA BELLA and CALM BROOKE being the most affected and they lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 305	CALL ILLUSION and ANOTHER FANTASY were slow to begin losing three lengths. DARBY LANE and HOMEBUSH EDDIE were both awkwardly placed between runners going into the bend and were then checked back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 305	ANOTHER GUNNA and GO FERN GO bumped when the start was made and ANOTHER GUNNA settled at the rear. ANOTHER BECKY was also a little slow to begin. GO FERN GO was on a forward move just behind the leader on the bend but was tripped from behind by TANYBRYN losing several lengths and finished in 6th place. The Trainer reported that ZACCARA had vomitted following the race and the dog was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305	BILLY HAKA shifted out going to the first corner and bumped MY LITTLE OAH who moved out and inconvenienced SAFFRON FLAHERTY and HOMEBUSH SUE as they went into the bend.
Race 6	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 520	ANOTHER COLT was slow to begin losing four lengths. BULLABAKANKA and HOMEBUSH WARRIOR collided on the first corner and HOMEBUSH WARRIOR then drifted off the back of the field and finished the race several lengths behind the 2nd last dog. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with pain in both wrists. FALSE IMPRESSION was held up for several strides behind RHYME IN MELODY on the first bend but then made up ground well for 3rd placing. BULLABAKANKA was also held up for several strides behind SHADOWS MATE in the back straight and he too made up ground for 4th place.
Race 7	Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305	FURIOUS RESPONSE began awkwardly and settled at the rear but made up ground to finish in 4th place. SCARILICIOUS shifted out going into the bend and forced POWER GIRL and AGENT JORGE wide on the bend.
Race 8	Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 520	BIG TOKEN and MOTOR MOUTH collided on the first corner losing several lengths. BIG TOKEN recovered to make up ground for 5th place but MOTOR MOUTH stayed back and finished several lengths last and he was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury but is required to compete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 before next racing.
Race 9	Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 305	BIGTIME LATTE shifted in and checked MISS MOET going to the first corner. GHOST CHIPS shifted in going into the bend and checked OUR REBEL GIRL who dropped back onto MAINLAND SONIC and they both lost three lengths. Soon after, MISS MOET galloped on the heels of GHOST CHIPS and they also lost ground.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	LITTLE BITTY GAL and KEZZ were slow to begin losing three lengths. COLERIDGE ANGEL checked off the back of RAVEON on the first bend and lost four lengths. BOTANY COMET shifted in going into the back straight and checked LITTLE BITTY GAL who lost several lengths and she stayed back at the rear for the remainder of the race.
Race 11	Mickeys Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305	YALDHURST EDWARD, STAT ME UP and GINA MAC were all a little slow to begin and settled at the rear. YALDHURST EDWARD recovered the best of the three and he made up ground to finish in 2nd place.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	BANBIT and FIRE BOY BAXTER were slow to begin losing three lengths. The Traiiner reported that IMPERATIVE had suffered a stopper pad injury and the dog was subsequently examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days.
