| Race 1 | Manawatu Raceway C0 - C0 - 375 | MEGA UPLOAD and DARBY LANE were slow to begin losing two lengths and together with RIJEKA they ran wide on the bend covering extra ground. EUNUCHS LUCK shifted in from the start and caused a chain reaction of movement which resulted in checks to GO FERN GO, RIJEKA, GO AYLA GO and HEAR HARE HERE with the last two mentioned runners being the most affected and they went back to the rear. |
| Race 2 | Beltdrive C1 - C1 - 375 | STAT ME UP and ANOTHER JAK UP were slow to begin losing four lengths. The last start winner ANOTHER JAK UP drifted further back during the race and finished several lengths last and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a toe injury. |
| Race 3 | Tasman Tanning Co C1 - C1 - 457 | SAMBUCCA and ASHVEGAS VALUE were both slow to begin losing two lengths. FULLA TORQUE shifted in and checked RUN JUNIOR RUN soon after the start and he lost three lengths. ASHVEGAS VALUE shifted out going to the first corner and checked JUST MAC who went back to the rear but recovered to finish well for 3rd place. |
| Race 4 | Elite Powder Coaters C2 - C2 - 375 | KAZILLION shifted in from the start and checked every other runner except the eventual winner LOUIELICIOUS who started from the 8 box and received a nice clear run. DYNA FIIER shifted out going to the first corner and caused checks to itself and also to RAMESSEE, DOUBLE TAPP, THUNDERING JET and FLOATING AWAY and they all lost ground and finished in the last five places. DYNA FRIER finished last and was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 14 days with a toe injury. |
| Race 5 | Nanas Knicker Shop C3 - C3 - 375 | ATE PIZZA shifted in soon after the start and checked SHEZA RATBAG and THRILLING PIPPI who both lost ground. DECADO shifted in going to the first corner and checked TURF MOOR and OPAWA BLACK who went back to the rear and they stayed there to finish in the rear group. |

| Race 7 | Scott Installations C3/4 - C3/4 - 375 | WHAT A PEANUT was slow to begin losing two lengths and he was then checked losing ground on the first corner when bumped from the inside by BIGTIME WHIZZ. ANOTHER LEGIN shifted out on the home turn and forced BIGTIME WHIZZ very wide over extra ground. |
| Race 8 | Carroll Contractors C3/4 - C3/4 - 375 | General tightening going to the first corner resulted in OPAWA THORN and DYNA DIEGO being tightened and losing their positions. DYNA DIEGO recovered to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 9 | Manawatu Harness Racing Club C5 - C5 - 375 | BIGTIME ALLGO, EMMA JAY and MINDARIVA were slow to begin losing three lengths but they all recovered to finish in 2nd 3rd and 4th places. MAGIC YOU, THEODORE WEST and ARIANA were all checked and lost ground going into the bend and they finished in the last three places. |
| Race 10 | Trophy Specialists & Engraving Ltd C5 - C5 - 375 | CAWBOURNE TANK and CHELSEAS BEAUTY were checked going to the first corner and they went back to the rear losing all chance of a first four placing. One of the favourites INISHFREE was a little slow to begin and he was checked from behind soon after turning into the home straight and lost momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 11 | Emerge Architectural Design C3/4 - C3/4 - 457 | ON TREY bumped BARNABY BALE soon after the start and BARNABY BALE settled at the rear but ran on well to finish in 4th place. LOCHINVAR ONYX shifted in going to the first corner and checked ENDORSE who lost ground but recovered to finish in 2nd place. |
| Race 12 | www.jazzmoresretreat.co.nz C5 - C5 - 457 | KEROBOKAN was the slowest to begin losing two lengths but he ran on well to win narrowly. NIP TUCK and RYBENBROOK FLASH came together and they were both checked going to the first corner with NIP TUCK suffering the most and she lost four lengths and all chance. |
