Into the bend PANCHO PISTOLES angled inwards and struck the running rail losing ground and running outwards checking ARCHIES DOLL. A post race veterinary check of PANCHO PISTOLES revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 2 | The Miller Bar & Cafe Sprint - C0 - 295 | ANOTHER FANTASY and WANDY MILLAH were the last to jump. KIN NIKKI was checked when tightened between KENNYS COMET and JAY CEE HURT in the early stages with KIN NIKKI losing ground. Into the bend MULBERRY CATO angled outwards for a stride pushing KENNYS COMET a touch wider. |
| Race 3 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C0 - 520 | UNO ORANGE was the last from the traps. OPAWA BART ran outwards in the early stages checking OHOKA TAYLOR for a stride. OPAWA JEN received a check into the first bend and pushed UNO ORANGE wider. ANOTHER COLT dropped out in the run home running a clear last with a post race veterinary check revealing signs of cramp with no stand down recommended. Handler Jonathan McInerney was advised that an improved run would be expected at this dog's next run. |
| Race 4 | racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295 | The favourite WINSTON WHO was very slow from the inside trap. Into the bend an improving ELKI ran outwards checking HOMEBUSH COCO who lost ground. FUR PATROL and WINSTON WHO both ran wide on the home turn losing ground. |
| Race 5 | Willy What At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520 | FUNNY MONEY and OHOKA ZOE were the last to jump from the middle of the field. DUKE OF FERN shortened stride after 50 metres and pulled up in the back straight. Stewards requested a veterinary examination of this dog with this revealing a torn gracilis with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 6 | Coalgate Tavern Dash - C0 - 295 | ZIP ZAP ZAPPA was last on jumping. Into the first bend INNER BEAUTY ran inwards checking MULBERRY MACRO with ANGEL DABYNE, SEONG DUK and ANOTHER COURSE all being badly checked and losing their chances. ANOTHER COURSE fell in this incident but regained his paws and completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormalities. |
| Race 7 | Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes - C1 - 520 | OHOKA ASHLEY was a clear last at the jump. OPAWA CHARLIE and OHOKA ASHLEY both ran wide into the first bend covering extra ground. |

Into the bend SALUTE TO RADAR, CALM RITA and MATTI OAH all came together wide on the track with SALUTE TO RADAR being dragged down for a few strides. HUSKER DU was also inconvenienced in this incident. A post race veterinary check of SALUTE TO RADAR revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 9 | Arthur Ritis At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295 | ALS BEST MATE was last to jump. JAZZY JET ran inwards sharply in the early stages badly checking REDDY BOY, DYNA FRIER and ALS BEST MATE. Into the bend ALS BEST MATE and DYNA FRIER again came together when well back. |
| Race 10 | Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 | KNOW ATTEMPT and YELLOW DIAMONDS were last to jump. These two runners came together in the early stages settling well back. OHOKA SANDY was checked into the first bend and lost ground. |
| Race 11 | Addington Events Centre Sprint - C1 - 295 | OKUKU CRACKER ran inwards in the back straight as LINSATION angled outwards with resultant checks being caused to TWISTER AL and SUMMERLAND KING with these dogs losing their chances at this stage. At the lure the winner NEED MARMITE fell and was trampled by following dogs. A post race veterinary check of NEED MARMITE revealed a fractured elbow with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
