Track: Good The meeting was conducted in wet conditions but the track which was presented in very good order, held up well and with all equipment functioning well, the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Race 1	Manawatu Raceway C0 - C0 - 375	FACE THE DEMON, GO AYLA GO and DARBY LANE were slow to begin losing three lengths. BIGTIME LATTE and MISSY MACABRE came together and bumped going into the bend and both lost ground. DARBY LANE checked off the heels of MISSY MACABRE soon after and lost ground. FACE THE DEMON, who was reasonably well supported, finished in last place and was examined by the Vet at the Trainers request as a precaution and stood down for 10 days with pectoral muscle injuries.
Race 2	Palmerston North Harness Racing Club C1 - C1 - 457	BACKYARD BULLY and SAMBUCCA came together and bumped when the start was made. OPAWA PATCH started from box 8 and was forced to race wide throughout over extra ground and finished iin last place.
Race 3	Hansen Interior Advanced Solutions C1 - C1 - 375	GREYWINDS KOBY was slow to begin losing three lengths. BIGTIME JET shifted in soon after the start and caused a check to EXCITED ROYALE who lost ground. EXCITED ROYALE and GREYWINDS KOBY collided going into the bend when racing at the rear and both lost ground with GREYWINDS KOBY suffering the most and he lost several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 4	ANZA Motor Company C1 - C1 - 375	LOUIELICIOUS shifted in from the start and bumped CHELSEAS BABE who in turn shifted in and caused a check to MAC TAN who lost ground. LOUIELICIOUS shifted in on the first corner and checked CHELSEAS BABE who went back onto DUM DIDDLY DO and they both lost ground.
Race 5	No Moore Hassell Pet Food C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	BOBS EYE and RONAN MACHALL jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and THRILLING DEAL then shifted out from further in and this resulted in tightening to RONAN MACHALL who fell. RONAN MACHALL regained his feet and raced to the finish and then made firm contact with the lure when pulling up and he suffered injuries which resulted in him being euthanased on humane grounds.
Race 6	Hunting and Fishing C2 - C2 - 375	WEE DIGER shifted in from the start and caused checks to several runners and then THUNDERING JET shifted out from the inside causing further crowding with KAZILLION being the most affected.
Race 7	Auto Interiors C3 - C3 - 375	MY GIRL MARINA was slow to begin losing four lengths and she tailed the field throughout. The winner SANDS OF TIME shifted in over the final few strides and inconvenienced the 3rd placed RANDO REASON and this probably cost RANDO REASON 2nd placing.
Race 8	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C4 - C4 - 375	BIGTIME WHIZZ, THRILLING HALO and CORTECCIA were a little slow to begin. BIGTIME WHIZZ was checked back to last going into the first ciorner and she never recovered and finished in the rear group.
Race 9	J W Auto NZ Racing Series Final - NZRSf - 457	BARRYS WAY blundered and lost ground soon after the start. GRIZZ shifted in going to the first corner and checked MOODY MAN who lost ground. NIP TUCK ran wide losinng ground on the bend and into the straight.
Race 10	Totally Fresh Vege Shop C5 - C5 - 375	JUST A MATE shifted in soon after the start and checked TILT YOUR GLASS who lost ground. TILT YOUR GLASS ran on from there but was wide on the bend and entering the home straight covering extra ground and finished in 4th place. SASSAFRAS was checked going into the bend losing several lengths and she finished in last place.
Race 11	Mike Murphy Electrical C5 - C5 - 375	CHELSEAS BEAUTY and CAWBOURNE TANK were checked soon after the start and they went back to the rear. SHALF was checked on the bend losing three lengths and he stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 12	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	BIGTIME KAREN and KEROBOKAN were slow to begin losing two lengths. BIGTIME KAREN was checked going into the bend losing further ground and she stayed back to finish near the rear.
