Track: Good The lure driver experienced some difficulty in obtaining instant response from the lure in the concluding stages of Race 2 with the trials lure being used for the rest of the day. The club's electrician will be investigating the problem.

Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C0 - 520	OHOKA TAYLOR angled inwards in the early stages tightening SECRET ARNIE who lost ground. OPAWA WIN was badly tightened into the first bend and dropped out to the rear remaining there with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormalities. GRIDIRON received a check into the first bend when racing in amongst dogs with KIN NIKKI having to scout wide to avoid this incident.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Darcy Poutama Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH ESME ran inwards in the early stages checking HOME TRUTH for a stride. Into the bend HOME TRUTH ran inwards as TOTALLY CONFUSED angled outwards with GEORGIE WONG being tightened in between these runners. In the run home the leading dog got to within 2-3 metres of the lure. Stewards viewed replays of the concluding stages of the race and ascertained that as per Rule 75.1 no Greyhound had been sustantially inconvenienced as a consequence of this variance with payment of dividends being duly authorised. The reason for the lure slowing was a slow response from the lure when the driver attempted to quicken it in the home straight with the trial lure being used for the rest of the programme. The club's electrician will be attending to this problem before the next meeting.
Race 3	Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 1	ANOTHER COLT stumbled for a stride out of the boxes and settled last. ANOTHER SNAZZA ran inwards in the back straight pushing ROLLEM UP JOANY down on to CALL ME RALPH who was checked. Into the bend TIPPYS TORPEDO was checked when racing to the outside of the leader. In behind ROLLEM UP JOANY was badly checked losing ground with RICH LIST going over the top of this dog and falling. ANOTHER COLT was also badly inconvenienced at this stage. Post race veterinary checks of RICH LIST and ROLLEM UP JOANY revealed no injuries.
Race 4	Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 2	BENDALLS BOY was a clear last on jumping. This dog then checked off SEONG DUK into the bend with both runners dropping to the rear. On the home turn JAY CEE HURT angled outwards coming into contact with ANOTHER COURSE with this dog losing momentum.
Race 5	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 520	LAW TO EXCEL was a clear last to settle. Into the first bend BABY JAMES angled inwards checking SILVIA SUE who lost ground.
Race 6	Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 3	MULBERRY MACRO weighed in 2.4kgs under his last race weight for his new trainer Rosemary Blackburn with the kennel advising that the decrease was planned. ANOTHER FANTASY was the last to jump. Into the bend BILLY MUGGINS and FLOSSY HAKA came together with FLOSSY HAKA being badly dragged down. EMMA ROSE and MULBERRY MACRO were both held up losing ground in this incident. A post race veterinary check of FLOSSY HAKA revealed no abnormalities.
Race 7	Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 4	PANSY BAXTER and OPAWA BEN were the last to jump. WANDY JEWEL ran inwards in the early stages coming together with MATTI OAH for a stride. PERFECT CLARITY was checked from behind for a stride soon after losing momentum. Into the bend YES HE WILL checked outwards off the back of KENNYS COMET pushing PERFECT CLARITY wider.
Race 8	Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 5	UNO GREEN and ANOTHER BECKY were the last to jump with ANOTHER JEWEL also settling well back. ELKI angled outwards in the early stages with TIMES UP, NO UNDIES SUNDY and PARKERMON all receiving some tightening as a result. NO UNDIES SUNDY ran wide on the home turn losing ground.
Race 9	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes Final - C1f - 520	The favourite WHITE AIR was dragged down for a stride by BUSINESS PLAN into the first bend losing momentum. TAKE A TRICK checked outwards off BOTANY NANA into that first bend and pushed BOTANY PRANCER very wide with TAKE A TRICK and BOTANY PRANCER losing their chances.
Race 10	CGRC & OTB Awards Dinner 25/8 Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW CONFLICT and PIED WARRIOR were the tardiest from the traps. KNOW CONFLICT received a check along the inside into the bend and ran outwards badly checking RHYTHM IN BLUE who lost ground.
Race 11	Happy Birthday John McInerney Sprint - C1 - 295	SYDENHAM BUBBLES was last on settling. In the back straight NOVAS FORTUNE angled inwards as BUSINESS CLASS shifted up the track resulting in SYDENHAM BUBBLES, HOME BREWER and WINSTON WHO all being badly tightened and losing ground. Soon after JUST KRISTY ran inwards taking the line of NOVAS FORTUNE who fell. He regained his paws and completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormalities.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C2 - 295	CAWBOURNE EMO ran inwards sharply in the early stages tightening all runners to her inside namely BIGTIME YAHOO, RIZZ AROUND, HALF THROTTLE, REDDY BOY and DONT CALL ME.
