Track: Good The track was presented in very good order and with all equipment functioning well, the meeting proceeded smoothly.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer I George advised the Stewards that his vehicle was under repair and that he was able to bring only three dogs to the meeting with another Trainer as there was insufficient room for a 4th dog in the Trailer. As a result, BOMBER MAN had to be scratched from race 12 and the repair Garage concerned had formally advised and confirmed to the Stewards that Mr Georges vehicle was under repair and he was waiting for parts to arrive.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	GO RUSSEL GO was a late scratching when found to have a toenail injury when removed from the kennel to prepare to race and he was stood down for 5 days. DARBY LANE was slow to begin losing two lengths. INTENSE ZOOM began well enough but was struggling to hold its position going to the first corner, became awkwardly placed between runners and was checked losing three lengths and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	GUNPOWDER GERTIE was slow to begin losing two lengths. HOMEBUSH SMOKE shifted in from the start and checked MOTOR MOUTH and RUTHLESS who both lost ground. EZY AS wanted to race away from tghe rail going to the first corner and was checked losing several lengths and all chance and RUTHLESS also lost ground in the incident. IM A CATCH checked off the heels of ROMEOS COURT going into the bend and lost two lengths. ROMEOS COURT led into the bend but was observed to ease and turn its head out towards SISAL for several strides forcing that runner wide. ROMEOS COURT lost ground in the incidernt but then ran on to finish in 3rd place. He was examined by the Vet, cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure and is required tpo complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 520	The favourite SPEED LEGEND was a little slow to begin and settled near the rear. FALSE IMPRESSION and SAMMY JAMES collided and lost ground on the first corner. THATS KING and SPEED LEGEND bunped together going into the first bend and they both lost ground. GUCCI RUSH and MY GIRL IZZY also collided going into the bend and lost ground with GUCCI RUSH being the most affected and she lost several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood C1 Heat 1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	One of the favourites KAZILLION was handy going to the first corner but lost its position and went back to the rear group. She then made up ground well to finish in 3rd place.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C1 Heat 2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	One of the favourites BIGTIME TREASURE drew box 8 and was forced to race wide throughout over extra ground and she finished in 2nd last place. KUROHARA shifted out on the home turn and forced CULVI CORGI to run wide over extra ground.
Race 6	Wanganui Security C1 Heat 3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	BIGTIME BENDER began awkwardly and scrambled for a couple of strides. HOMEBUSH LAYLA, RANDOM ACT and HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD came together and jostled for a couple of strides soon after the start. HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD shifted in on the first corner and checked RANDOM ACT who lost ground. Soon after, RANDOM ACT , HOMEBUSH LAYLA and BIGTIME BENDER came together and jostled and lost ground.
Race 7	Broad Roofing C1 Heat 4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	JIMMY THE BUCK was slow to begin losing three lengths. RED HOT DUTCH, JETSUN JULES, IMPERATIVE and LITTLE BITTY GAL were all checked going into the first corner when runners drawn further out shifted in and they lost four lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 8	Guthrie Bowron C1 Heat 5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	WILD VAGABOND drew box 2 but shifted out going to the first corner and raced very wide on the bend and into the home straight covering extra ground which would have cost him a closer placing than 4th. KEZZ and RON BAXTER bumped together for a few strides going to the first corner and RON BAXTER suffered the most losing three lengths.
Race 9	Gary Ross Decorator C1 Heat 6 - C1q - 305 Heat 6	JUKE BOX BOY began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and he tailed the field throughout. LOTTO RASPBERRY was handy enough going to the first corner but eased and went quickly back through the field losing several lengths and causing a check to VICKIS QUEST in the process. LOTTO RASPBERRY was examined by the Vet and a 14 day stand down was recommended due to wrist pain. However, LOTTO RASPBERRY was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure throughout the race and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 10	Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 520	SYDILICIOUS was slow to begin and settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 11	Keenan Concrete C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	BOTANY GARETH weighed in 3.9 kilograms over its last start weight and when questioned, the kennel representative stated that the increase was intended and that the dog had been too far down in weight at the previous start. The dog was cleared fit to run by the Vet. BOTANY GARETH and WANDY KYLE who both had poor form at their recent starts, finished several lengths behind the 3rd last runner.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305	SEDGEBROOK LEE was slow to begin but recovered to make up ground for 3rd placing. NUTS FOR SURE and RED HERRING jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and they both lost ground and finished in the last two places.
