Track: Heavy Todays track was slushy due to rain the previous day and a further shower during the meeting kept the track in a slushy state. Stewards were satisfied the track was safe to race on.

Race 1	Otago First4 Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	ARCHIES DOLL and BELFAST CHUKKA were slow to begin. TEKOA ran wide into the first bend. IMA SINGER drifted out on the first bend making firm contact with TEKOA. TEKOA then had to check inwards off the heels of IMA SINGER who continued to shift wider. OZY RULES was shifted wider on the track turning for home by ARCHIES DOLL who was improving through on the inside of OZY RULES.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	MAXIS MATE bounded and began awkwardly losing ground with SMASH AMEGO being slow to begin. SMASH AMEGO ran inwards at the first bend making contact with JOHNNYS BLUE. Further into the bend KATE ROSE shifted out forcing NAEVIA wider on the track. SMASH AMEGO and LADY LUCY brushed on the home turn.
Race 3	Blue Bubble Dunedin Taxis Stakes - C1 - 545	AUTUMN SPIRIT was slow to begin. CASLEY ran out on the first bend making contact with SMASHING DORA. CASLEY continued his outwards movement forcing SHADOW WOLF very wide into the first bend. SHADOW WOLF and AUTUMN SPIRIT both raced very wide in the back straight. Racing into the final bend DITTMAN shifted inwards checking SMASH DORA who lost momentum.
Race 4	Norwood Farm Machinery Sprint - C1 - 310	STARBURST HANNAH shifted in abruptly at the start severley checking PEGSON FIRE. WANDY DEVIL was also checked in this incident. WANDY DEVIL clipped the rear of NEW ORDER racing down the back straight. Racing into the bend WANDY DEVIL continued to shift in forcing NEW ORDER into the raining rail resulting in that dog falling heavily and taking no further part in the race. Hampoered as a result of the fall were NEW YORK AFFAIR, SALVADOR BALE and PEGSON FIRE. Further into the bend STARBURST HANNAH clipped the heels of WANDY DEVIL and had to change ground outwards. Stewards ordered a veterniary examination of the fallen runner NEW ORDER which revealed no physical injury however the dog appeared to be concussed with a 7 day stand down imposed by the clubs Veterinarian under Rule 82.1.
Race 5	President's Stakes - C2 - 310	SLIGHT AMAZING was slow into stride. BLACK TRIGGER clipped the back of SLIGHTLY AMAZING racing down the back staright. WYNDHAM shifted out racing into the bend forcing BLICKLING BRIDGE outwards onto CAWBOURNE EMO resulting in BLICKLING BRIDGE having to check.
Race 6	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C2 - 545	CAWBOURNE HEIDI was squeezed at the start losing ground. SHOULD BE CARLOS shifted in shortly after the start checking HOMEBUSH WILD. OPAWA CHARLIE shifted out in the first straight and checked HOMEBUSH WILD and CAWBOURNE HEIDI. OPAWA CHARLIE and CAWBOURNE HEIDI raced wide into and out of the first bend. Racing into the back straight WANDY CHLOE and THRILLING JONAH made contact on at least 2 occasions. At the end of the back straight HOMEBUSH WILD shifted in forcing WANDY CHLOE into the running rail resulting in that runner stumbling and losing momentum.
Race 7	Speedprint Shop Dash - C5 - 310	CHEETAH WOODS was slow to begin. Racing into the first bend ENFLAME shifted in checking ANOTHER MATE resulting in the trailing CHEETAH WOODS clipping heels and falling losing all chance. CHEETAH WOODS recovered its feet and finished the race. AS FAR AS was also hampered in this incident losing ground. COLONELS CHOICE checked his stride and pulled up free of interference on the home bend failing to complete the race. Stewards ordered post race veterniary examinations of both CHEETAH WOODS and COLONELS CHOICE. CHEETAH WOODS was found to have no injuries. COLONELS CHOICE was found to have injured its right hock with a 21 day stand down imposed under Rule 82.1. A post race veterniary examination of AS FAR AS revealed lacerations to the left hind foot requiring staples. AS FAR AS was stood down from racing for 10 days under Rule 82.1
Race 8	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C5 - 310	VAMPIRES SHADOW was slow to begin. Into the bend IONA HAKA lost momentum when he shifted and made contact with JENNINGS. The trailing VAMPIRES SHADOW was then forced to shift wider to avoid the heels of IONA HAKA.
Race 9	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C3 - 545	ARCHIES JET was slow to begin. Passing the winning post the first timne SHIRAZ ROSE shifted out checking MORNING WATCH. SHIRAZ ROSE and HOMEBUSH IRIS came together racing into the first bend. RUN RILEY RUN raced very wide down the back straight.
Race 10	Green Island Super Liquor Sprint - C3 - 310	GEORGIE LEE shifted in after the start hampering HAMPDEN JACK and WATERHOUSE. HOMEBUSH COLT had to steady when tightened for room racing into the bend.
Race 11	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C4 - 310	FINGER POP was very slow to begin with GENISTA LIGHTNIN being slow to begin.. Racing into the first bend OPAWA COLLAR shifted in checking GENISTA TORNADO with both runners losing ground.
Race 12	Racing Again Next Tuesday Sprint - C3 - 310	HEZA SENSATION and HAUKO were both slow to begin. NERD CORNER lost ground when shifting in after the start and becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of FULLA PRIDE. Racing into the bend NERD CORNER shifted in checking MUSTARD FUDGE. Further round the bend NERD CORNER shifted in again checking HAUKO.
