Track: Good The track was very well presented considering the amount of rain which had fallen in the district in recent days and the meeting proceeded without incident.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: LINDOP was a late scratching when the dog was not presented to race and she was stood down for 28 days under Rule 64.5 and Trainer J.McInerney was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 88.1 o. for failing to present the dog. However, after receiving submissions from the Trainer with regard to the non presentation of LINDOP, the 28 day stand down has been rescinded.

Race 1	Manawatu Raceway C0 - C0 - 375	SISAL was slow to begin losing two lengths. MISSY MACABRE and FULLA TORQUE bumped together on the first corner and lost a little ground. MISSY MACABRE was checked on the bend and she went out and back checking SISAL and they stayed back to finish at the rear. ZACCARA shifted out approaching the home straight and forced RIJEKA out onto DELUSIVE and they lost momentum for a couple of strides. The favourite DELUSIVE recovered to finish in 2nd place.
Race 2	Palmerston North Harness Racing Club C1 - C1 - 375	KEZZ and MAC TAN were slow to begin losing two lengths. WILD VAGABOND shifted out going to the first corner and checked JUST MAC and KEZZ who both lost ground but they recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places.
Race 3	Hansens Interior Advanced Solutions C1 - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH LACEY was slow to begin losing two lengths. CRAZY BABY shifted in sharply from the start and inconvenienced CHELSEAS BABE for a couple of strides. GENIAL was checked and lost ground on the bend and he dropped out to finish several lengths last and was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 10 days with a tensor fascia lata muscle injury. RON BAXTER was checked going to the first corner and went back onto HOMEBUSH LACEY and they lost three lengths.
Race 4	ANZA Motor Company C2 - C2 - 375	DASHER RUM shifted in from the start and checked THUNDERING JET and ALL THE RAGE who both lost a little ground. Soon after, MY GIRL MARINA shifted in and caused checks to BOBS YOUR UNCLE, DASHER RUM, THUNDERING JET and ALL THE RAGE and they all lost ground and settled well back.
Race 5	No Moore Hassell Pet Food Company C1 - C1 - 457	HAIR SHE IS and SAPPHIRE PHOENIX were checked back to the rear soon after the start and they never recovered and finished near the rear. MISSION DRIVE began well enough but then drifted back going to the first corner and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a tricep injury.
Race 6	Hunting and Fishing C3 - C3 - 375	THRILLING HALO and CAWBOURNE FLICK were slow to begin losing two lengths. THRILLING HALO made up ground well to finish in 3rd place but CAWBOURNE FLICK stayed back and finished in last place.
Race 7	Auto Interiors Ltd C2 F - C2 - 457	SLANGEVAR and THRILLING DEAL were slow to begin losing two lengths. THRILLING DEAL made up ground well to win but SLANGEVAR and HOMEBUSH FRASER were both checked going to the first corner losing several lengths and all chance and they finished at the rear.
Race 8	J W Auto C4 - C4 - 375	LITTLE BLACKSPOT was checked going to the first corner and lost three lengths and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. OPAWA THORN and CAWBOURNE TANK collided at the rear of the field soon after entering the home straight and they finished in the rear group.
Race 9	Mike Murphy Auto Electrical C4 - C4 - 375	RIPPED JEANS began awkwardly and settled at the rear and he received an interrupted run on the bend and into the straight and finished in last place. CAWBOURNE TOBES shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to DONKEY DEEP, EMMAS SECRET and MOODY MAN who all lost ground.
Race 10	Totally Fresh Vege Shop C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	BIGTIME ALLGO was slow to begin losing three lengths but he made up ground to finish in 4th place. CAWBOURNE COOKIE was checked on the bend losing three lengths and she finished in last place. The favourite THEODORE WEST was handy enough going into the bend and then appeared to make contact for a stride with MY JACK ATTACK and faded from there to finish in 2nd last place and he was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. THEODORE WEST was also sent for a swab.
Race 11	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	OUR PLAYBOY was slow to begin losing two lengths. HOWLIN WIND was handy going to the first corner but was checked and went back causing checks to LOUIE MACHALL and OUR PLAYBOY and all three lost ground and finished in the rear group.
Race 12	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	GIRL ROSEY and PEKING TOM were slow to begin losing two lengths. GIRL ROSEY, DARLYNE OTTEY and PEKING TOM came together and jostled for several strides going to the first corner and they lost several lengths. DARLYNE OTTEY was between the other two runners and she suffered the most in the incident and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
