Judicial report: Handler Alysha Waretini was questioned in regards to using a cellphone as the dogs were at the stir-up area. Her explanation was accepted on this occasion and she was reminded of her obligations in this regard.

Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C0 - 520	GRIDIRON was the last to jump. KNOW ATTEMPT checked off the back of KNOW THOUGHT into the bend and ran outwards pushing RICH LIST and GRIDIRON wider. On the home turn GRIDIRON checked off the back of RICH LIST when both runners were at the rear.
Race 2	CGRC & OTB Awards Dinner 25/8 Dash - C0 - 295	The favourite ELKI was the last to jump. BILLY MUGGINS ducked inwards at the jump and checked JUNIOR WHAT for a stride. BILLY MUGGINS ran outwards in the back straight pushing INNER BEAUTY and FLOSSY HAKA over extra ground. ELKI ran outwards on the home turn and contacted PERFECT CLARITY on two occasions with both dogs losing momentum.
Race 3	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295	WINSTON WHO was a clear last on jumping. He did extremely well to get up for second. PENNY BLUE SOX, BELFAST SUZY and GUNS ON FIRE were all checked into the first bend losing ground while soon after HOME BREWER checked outwards off the back of BLONDE TORI losing ground. BELFAST SUZY was shunted wide in this incident.
Race 4	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 1	PIED WARRIOR and FUNNY MONEY were the last to jump. OHOKA ASHLEY shifted up the track marginally on the home turn inconveniencing FUNNY MONEY for a few strides.
Race 5	Hurunui Hotel Sprint - C0 - 295	YES HE WILL, BUSINESS CLASS and NEED MARMITE were all a shade slow to jump. RANDY OUTSIDE shifted outwards at the end of the back straight moving CLONE YOUR OWN out on to an improving NEED MARMITE who was checked for a few strides. Stewards requested a post race veterinary check of BELFAST SKERTZ which appeared lame at the lure. A shoulder strain was diagnosed with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 6	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 2	TAKE A TRICK and SECRET SARAH were the slowest from the outside traps. OPAWA PATCH ran outwards into the first bend checking BANK ROLLER with both dogs losing ground. LACHIES LAD was handy early but dropped out to finish last. Trainer Blair Shaw told Stewards he was very disappointed with the run and added that this dog would be restricted to sprints in the near future.
Race 7	Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C2 - 295	RIZZ AROUND slipped her collar after stir ups and ran 10 metres to the lure. She was checked by the veterinarian and cleared fit to start. AVEC LAMOUR was last to jump from the inside. EL MAESTRO ran inwards checking DONT CALL ME in the initial stages while soon after RIZZ AROUND ran outwards again checking DONT CALL ME and EL MAESTRO.
Race 8	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 3	NOISY LEO and BOTANY COMET were the slowest to jump. Into the first bend NOISY LEO was badly tightened as he attempted to improve through the middle of runners and lost ground coming together with BOTANY COMET who also lost her place. On the home turn OKUKU SURPRISE shifted outwards slightly inconveniencing KNOW CONFLICT.
Race 9	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C1 - 295	OPAWA FLYER was the last to jump. HOMEBUSH GRETA was tightened on the bend as TOTALLY CONFUSED crossed to the rail in front of her with HOMEBUSH GRETA losing a few lengths.
Race 10	Culverden Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	OHOKA GERRY and RUNWAY QUEEN were tardy from the traps. HALF THROTTLE angled inwards into the bend tightening GEORGIE WONG and OPAWA STEVE for a few strides. On the bend HALF THROTTLE shifted outwards checking DYNAMIK SPIRIT who dropped to the rear with RUNWAY QUEEN being forced wider at this stage.
Race 11	Buy Sell And Exchange Dash - C1 - 295	MIGHTY MONICA aimed straight for the rail when the lids opened checking HOMEBUSH COCO and TWISTER AL who settled well back. NITRO MABEL was found to have a mild hock sprain following the race with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C2 - 295	MOLLY PARTON was the last to jump. OKUKU SKYHIGH and RAMBUNCTIOUS were tightened on the home bend and lost a few lengths.
