Track: Good The meeting proceeded smoothly with all equipment operating well and the racinng was conducted on a well presented track.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer J.T.McInerney was fined $ 100-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 68.8, penalty Rule 88.1 o ( Negligence ) when failing to produce the registration papers for ANOTHER STREET, ANOTHER LADY and MY GIRL MARINA who were all entered for race 12. Kennel representative K Gommans will be spoken to advisedly and issued with a warning after her failure to present herself to sign a charge sheet when requested to do so by the Stewards.
ERIC'S SONG who was stood down with an injury after racing at the Manawatu track on 06.08.2012, was presented today for re vetting under the provisions of Rule 82.5 and the stand down was rescinded under Rule 82.6.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH INDIA, DARBY LANE and BLUE RUSH were slow to begin losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH INDIA and BLUE RUSH were checked on the first corner and BLUE RUSH made firm contact with the rail and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with leg muscle pain. DARBY LANE checked off the heels of TANYBRYN going into the bend and lost ground.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	THRILLING SQUEAL clipped a heel going to the first corner and lost ground. Soon after, EZY AS and HOMEBUSH EDDIE were checked losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 3	J P Print , Petone C1 - C1 - 305	DIGGIN ON YOU started from box 8 and shifted across going to the first corner and then eased for a stride to avoid the heels of the leader SECRET STAR and then went on to win the race. THUNDA THIGHS went off stride going to the first corner and dropped out to finish several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with wrist and trapezius muscle pain.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 305	BELLA SIENNA scrambled soon after the start and she lost ground , settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race. STAT ME UP and MARTYN STREET were the slowest to begin but they secured clear runs to finish in 1st and 2nd places.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 520	ASHVEGAS VALUE was the slowest to begin and settled well back. He then jostled with HOMEBUSH LAYLA and THRILLING CLOUD for several strides going to the first bend and they lost ground. THRILLING CLOUD recovered the best of the three and she finished in 4th place. SUMMER HAKA appeared to be injured following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for two months with a stopper bone fracture.
Race 6	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH JEM, HOMEBUSH GWEN and SHAME ON EAMON were all checked and lost ground on the bend and they finished in the rear group.
Race 7	Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305	KINETIC FLYER was slow to begin losing two lengths. BIGTIME TREASURE and SISTER VIRTUE collided soon after the start and SISTER VIRTUE suffered the most and dropped back to the rear with BIGTIME TREASURE settling just ahead and they stayed back throughout the race. LISA BAXTER checked off the heels of EXACT MASTER going into the bend and she went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 8	Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH DUSTY shifted out going into the first corner and checked JUKE BOX BOY and LANSVALE SPARK who went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. FOUR TOO MANY checked off the heels of SINGLE SCULLER on the bend and went back and out checking KEZZ and they both lost ground.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	PETROL VOUCHER and KAZILLION shifted in from the start and caused checks to themselves and also SHODSIE and GREYWINDS KOBY and they all lost ground. HAIR HE IS shifted in going to the back straight and checked BULLABAKANKA who went back and out causing a check to KAZILLION and they both lost ground and finished at the rear.
Race 10	Mickey's Super Liquor C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH CINDY, CULVIE CORGI and SEDGEBROOK LEE were slow to begin losing three lengths. SEDGEBROOK LEE recovered best of the three and he ran on well to finish in 2nd place with the other two finishing at the rear.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C2 - C2 - 305	COOL EXPLORER was the slowest to begin but made up ground well to win the race narrowly. SHARI JEWEL led going into the bend but then began to drift back through the field and she finished in last place and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a wrist injury.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C3 - C3 - 305	The favourite ATE PIZZA bumped with MY BAD JONNY for several strides going to the first corner and became unbalanced and was checked from behind by SEDGEBROOK ELITE on the first corner and struck the rail losing all chance and SEDGEBROOK ELITE also lost ground. ATE PIZZA was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
