| Race 1 | Otago First4 Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | MANAPOURI was a clear last on jumping. NOISY LEO came together and was dragged down by ARCHIE'S DOLL into the bend and dropped to the rear with MANAPOURI being forced very wide to avoid this runner. |
| Race 2 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1 - 310 | OPAWA BLAZE was tightened into the bend and lost ground. OLD OZARK received a slight check in the early stages and dropped to the rear. This dog then ran wide into the bend and tailed the field with a post race veterinary check revealing leg soreness with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Speedprint Shop Stakes - C0 - 545 | SECRET ARNIE ducked outwards in the initial stages checking SPLASHED OUT for a stride. Into the first bend OPAWA BART checked outwards off OPAWA SIR losing ground. SECRET ARNIE ran outwards to avoid these runners pushing OPAWA ZAC wide and into the path of SPLASHED OUT and SECRET NICOLE. SECRET NICOLE fell at this stage but completed the race with post race veterinary checks of her and SPLASHED OUT revealing no injury. |
| Race 4 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310 | DOGGER BANK weighed in 3.4kgs over his last race weight with the connections confirming that this was a planned weight increase. DOGGER BANK ran inwards in the early stages with OPAWA FLYER losing ground on the inside. Into the bend WHAT A DUMP ran outwards tightening BLACK OZARK and MAYMAY'S JEM who lost ground with these two runners coming together again soon after. |
| Race 5 | Roofing Solutions Sprint - C2 - 310 | OPAWA CHARLIE was last to jump from the outside. JOHNNIE GEORGE checked off the back of FANCY SPICE on the bend and lost momentum. |
| Race 6 | Roofing Solutions Stakes - C1 - 545 | AUTUMN SPIRIT ran outwards in the early stages inconveniencing SECRET SARAH for a few strides. Into the first bend SHADOW WOLF ran outwards as did GRANT A DOLLAR wider out. GRANT A DOLLAR received a check on the home turn and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 7 | Norwood Farm Machinery Sprint - C3 - 310 | ANOTHER DRIZZLE was the last from the traps. The favourite AVERT checked off the back of FULLA PRIDE into the bend and lost momentum before finishing powerfully for second. |
| Race 8 | Blue Bubble Dunedin Taxis Sprint - C4 - 310 | Into the bend SOSAN and ANOTHER RAEWYN were tightened and dropped to the rear. Soon after STUMPY KASHKOW checked off the back of IONA HAKA and ran wide losing ground. |
| Race 9 | Green Island Barber Stakes - C1/2 - 545 | CAWBOURNE HEIDI and SHIRAZ ROSE were the last to jump. CASLEY ran outwards into the early stages hampering the favourite WANDY PAUL and BOTANY MOLLY for a few strides. |
| Race 10 | Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C5 - 310 | KNOW RIVAL and CHEETAH WOODS were the slowest from the traps. Into the bend EMERGE ran inwards and checked off runners causing her to angle outwards and into the path of ANOTHER DOLLAR who was badly checked and dropped to the rear. EMERGE then ran inwards on the bend contacting the running rail. A post race veterinary check of EMERGE revealed shoulder soreness with a five day stand down recommended. |
| Race 11 | Green Island Super Liquor Dash - C5 - 310 | KNOW ESCAPE and HONKING HORNS were the last to jump. VISUAL ILLUSION ran inwards in the early stages tightening CALLAHAN who lost ground. Into the bend GENISTA LIGHTNIN was dragged down as KNOW ESCAPE improved outwards with GENISTA LIGHTNIN falling. VISUAL ILLUSION, CALLAHAN and CAWBOURNE DUSTY were all inconvenienced in this incident. KNOW ESCAPE lost momentum on the home turn when checking off the outside of WANDY CHICK. A post race veterinary check of GENISTA LIGHTNIN revealed no injury. |
| Race 12 | Racing Again Tuesday 21st August Sprint - C3 - 310 | COLONEL'S CHOICE received some tightening and lost momentum on the home turn. This dog recovered well to win the event. |
